From the case study it has been known that Peter is 14 and his mother died when he was
11. Now his father is at work and also his older brother and sister runs the households. After the
death of his mother Peter is depressed and has also lost his self esteem. It has been analysed that
patient is depressed, lonely and needs attention. Sometimes he even closes his room and cries for
hours. He was in deep grief and the situation was going worsening in the coming years. Patients
family member has no idea what he is going through. It has been analysed that if patient does not
communicate about his problems his condition will become more worsening and also he can
develop suicidal tendencies and feel more isolated in the coming year.
It has been evaluated that depression and loneliness can have a severe negative impact on
the functioning of patient. When they are depressed they will also not been able to do their day to
day tasks and also in this case situation Peter will not be able to take his own decision. He will
become more vulnerable and his quality of life will be decreased because of being lonely and
