1. Executive summary
In this study, it is going to discuss the organization Sim’s Hardware that has a vision statement of
leading the hardware and home-improvement market in Australia within Five years. The
organization has conducted Risk management plan that generates responsibilities to attract
customers along with identifying risks. In order to achieve better financial support, the
organization went for doing Joint Venture by conducting proper communication about the
business process. The organization has also developed a training program to create the quality of
the work.
2. Introduction
Sim’s Hardware is said Australia’s number one hardware retail organization that has 138 stores
along with 10000 staffs approximately. The organization provides a wide range of products at a
competitive level to conduct development to home improvement. It is also said that Sim’s
Hardware has been selected part of the Australian retail landscape from last many decades for
their quality products supply (SIMS, 2019). The organization went for providing training to their
sales team along with the sales staffs in order to modify supplier relationships. The products that
got delivered by the organization are related to hardware, tools, painting items, housewares,
outdoor and garden utensils. The organization has also looked after developing a commitment to
minimize environmental impact by using resources wisely, by ensuring the suppliers operate
sustainably along with encouraging and educating customers to establish awareness about
environmentally friendly alternatives. The organization also looked after developing waste
management principles in order to mitigate environmental risks. The organization’s mission
statement says about providing quality hardware along with providing service to the customers
by maintaining low price and decent quality to the service.
3. Development of a partnership program plan
After conducting a SWOT analysis of this organization, it was seen that the organization looked
after developing partnerships with suppliers to maintain innovation in business and service. The
organization also formed a partnership with Australian Post, in order to conduct promotion
actively along with distributing a range of products via port transaction. The organization is

looking after developing partnership by developing innovation along with providing top quality
products. In order to manage the partnership, the organization has sought after several parts, and
those are;
A. Organizational policy related to business- In order to conduct changes in a
sustainable manner, the organization has looked after developing a partnership with other
organization. The partnership policy looks after getting aligned with the following documents:

The organization has looked after developing a Collaborative Partnership that has looked after
developing agreements to share resources in order to accomplish a mutual goal.
B. Incorporation to the relevant legal requirements- It is said as a necessary part to
conduct business in the proper way along with developing appropriate legal rules so that profit or
loss to the company can be achieved in a correct way. The legal acts that are necessary to be
incorporated are related to Partnership Act 1963 and Partnership Act 1892 (Australian Capital
Territory Current Acts, 2018). These Acts look after developing liability in the partnership, along
with monitoring business performance by integrating better strategies for business (New South
Wales Consolidated Acts, 2018). In order for a partnership to be successful, it is essential to have
a range of clear outcomes attached that can be used in order to measure success.
C. Private-Public partnership- this partnership stays incorporated with developing a
contract to the business along with managing private-public partnerships. The private party looks
after providing public service that assumes substantial financial and operational risk in the
project. In this type of partnership, Government also says to provide a capital subsidy in the form

revenue for a fixed time period. Types of PPP that gets used in Australia are Social infrastructure

User charge PPP.
D. Resource requirements to achieve partnership plan- Resources are necessary for
accomplishing partnership plan, and those are related to;
Financial resources from a particular budget
Human resources are also necessary such as staffs from another department to work with
the project

Administrative support to conduct work by generating support to the project and the team

Necessary computer equipment to conduct work along with looking after the process

4. The detained partnership program that identifies relevant issues, which are necessary to
be looked after in Joint Venture
A. The outcome to be achieved from the partnership- The business looks after achieving
short and long-term goals in terms of the business outcome that business needs to look after in
order to achieve the benefits by conducting proper organizational work. A positive outcome to
the organizational projects helps in developing better planning, which ultimately helps in
conducting motivating along with conducting better plan. In order to measure success, it is said
as a necessary part to measure success, which gets done by monitoring and evaluating
performance (Jalalkamali, Ali, Hyun & Nikbin., 2016). In order to maximize financial support
for the organization Sim’s Hardware, the hierarchies wet for conducting stakeholder
consultation, which helps in optimizing times along with conducting significant benefits. Apart
from these, it is also necessary to do effective communication to the business partners along with
marinating transparency to the business process.
B. Conduction of ongoing consultation with a partner company- Partnerships are said
to be a beneficial part as it looks after developing improving continuity along with improving
trust level. Partnerships are also announced to be informal that stays involved with conducting
formal agreement. It is also needed to find a way to communicate with the partner company as
part of a regular communication channel such as using presentations at staff meetings or by
conducting emails during the working day.
C. Communication solution- In Joint Venture, it is said to look after conducting proper
communication about the business process along with discussing the issue that the organization

audiences to conduct interaction. Communications with the viewers or the customers' are
necessary to understand their needs. Thus, the organization needs to perform Media campaign
advertising, and in this process, the organizational or joint venture partners do answer to the
questions that the journalists have.
In this way, customers also come to know about the steps or changes that are going to be
conducted by the organization. It is said to integrate media in the business in order to discuss
those changes that are going to be undertaken after developing a partnership. Social media

Hardware organization can go for a number of processing that can be used for contributing to the
creation along with generating maintenance towards creating a positive culture by embracing
collaboration. Processes that can be used for providing creation and support towards a positive
culture stay collaboration by making lead by examples.
B. The process that contributes towards resolving conflicts- Organizational culture is also
necessary for conducting team development by describing the workplace personality.

necessary for the organization to generate collaboration by influencing strategies with the
members as it helps in identifying the better one (Bealt, Fernández Barrera & Mansouri, 2016). It
is also necessary to highlight the benefits of collaboration so that tasks can be conducted in a
more relaxed manner, along with fulfilling the needs. It is also required to generate support by
engaging collaborative practices. In order to create support, it is necessary to provide training to
the employees, and it is also essential to reward the people for their collaborative effort.
E. Empowering staff to develop working ways- The organization needs to embrace
collaboration by integrating culture along with generating potential benefits such as; more
significant resources along with providing specialized teamwork opportunities. The process that
contributes towards creation and maintenance towards positive culture are;
Recruitment procedures that look after implementing values to create a positive work

technologies and better policies in the training process. The hierarchies of Sim's Hardware
organization also needs to incorporate effective leaders, which can develop communication in
the group along with generating a positive culture in work environment (Van Knippenberg,
Dubois, Mistiaen, Stordeur, Cordon & Farfan-Portet., 2016). The leaders are also said to
generate feedback to the employees on a weekly basis so that employees can look after the areas
where it is needed to conduct development.
7. Conclusion
From the above study, it can be seen that Sim’s Hardware has been selected part of the
Australian retail landscape from last many decades for their quality products supply. It is also
mentioned that the organization looks after developing waste management principles in order to
mitigate environmental risks. In order to make the people known about the joint venture of the
organization, it went for conducting Media campaign advertisement. The organization also went
for developing skills of the employees by arranging effecting training programs along with
integrating experienced leaders in the process. It is also said that leaders need to conduct
development in the communication part to mitigate organizational conflicts.
