Health and Social care is defined as the services which are available from the health and
social care providers which are situated in UK (Buse and et.al., 2018).
Thus, the report will analyse effective — team working in health and social care and how
it contributes to person-centred care. Along with this, Belbin Self-Perception Inventory will also
be described and what will be learned from exercise will also be known and evaluated in
effective manner. Personal SWOT analysis will be evaluated and framed which will help in
understanding my strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. It will also reflect in report
that will be learned about myself while being a team member and contributing my role in health
and social care setting. My own experience as a team member in health and social care setting
will be identified and analysed in positive manner. Within the report, health and social care
setting will be given importance.

Effective teamwork is an essential tool for creating the system more patient-centred. Teamwork
improves productivity which creates a mindset of healthcare leaders to improve and guide their
staffs to provide better services and attention to the clients. Health care providers who work as a
team are more creative and responsive towards the changes. Providing effective team-work to the
patients can make them more satisfied with the health care system (Kinsella and et.al., 2020).
Patients experience less stress and more satisfaction when the members of the team are fulfilling
their duties.
An effective team in health care industry is what includes the patients, staff, doctors and
every person who can be concerned to provide better service. Teams have their respective roles
and responsibilities which have to be fulfilled. Every team member is definably accountable for

Weaknesses — I often get bored while continuing the same work which makes difficult for me
to concentrate. I also find difficulty in working with people when they are not contributing with
the team in positive manner.
Opportunities — I gain lot of opportunities which are there while working in the team. I also
got the opportunity of finding new ideas and exploring them for better and effective work which
I displayed in the team while working together (Teoli and et.al., 2019).
Threats — There are certain threats to me which has affected my working in the team. The
threat which I faced was that My work in contributing to team seemed to be more in precise and
not in detail manner which created problems and issues to me. This affected my performance by
being a team member.
My experience while working with team in health and social care setting was very
significant. I had learned many new things which helped me in knowing that I was able to deliver
positive role in working together. I was also able to manage my work and deliver my role
effectively by collaborating on different working systems and through this, I was able to provide
valuable behaviour and there were changes which were also observed in my behaviour. I became
more of a calm and positive person while effectively contributing to team. I had also learned and
evaluated that I am able to complete my work on time.
By working with other team members, I have also gained some qualities from them as
well as how to be positive in doing the work and performing responsibilities (Benzaghta and
et.al., 2021). This helped me in knowing aspects as to how effectively and in appropriate manner
I was able to complete my work on time in health and social care setting. I had also observed that
there were major concerns as to how effectively and in appropriate manner I am delivering my
role while working in the team along with other members. I have also learned that how to be
patient in difficult situations.
CONCLUSION
Thus, it is concluded from above report that effective — team working in health and
social care was described effectively and it helped in contributing to person-centred care. Along
with this, Belbin Self-Perception Inventory was also described and what was learned from
exercise was also known and evaluated in an effective and efficient manner. Personal SWOT
analysis was being evaluated and framed which helped in understanding my strengths,
to concentrate. I also find difficulty in working with people when they are not contributing with
the team in positive manner.
Opportunities — I gain lot of opportunities which are there while working in the team. I also
got the opportunity of finding new ideas and exploring them for better and effective work which
