INTRODUCTION
Colonization can be termed out as action or process that settling among and establishing
control over indigenous individual of an area (Owings, 2019). This is defined as procedure in
which central system of power dominates that surrounds land and its components. The present
report will be based on to reflect on the impact of colonization and colonization upon first
nations Australians.
MAIN BODY
a. Participation of individual in operations of first nations Australians.
Colonialism termed out as practice of domination that involves the subjugation of one
individual to another (Slater, Green and Walker, 2019). As an individual, I have analysed that
colonization in the Australia has devastating effect on indigenous people. Therefore, the first
nations people must be actively engaged at the outset of emergency planning of public health. I
have recognized that the beginning of colonialism, indigenous individuals continually resisted
the violation of their right to land and this has wide impact on the indigenous cultures and
communities. I have analysed that colonization has wide impact on indigenous Australians.
Hence, one of the worst impact was loss of land. Therefore, land is the sole provider of food,
medicine and other basic requirements of indigenous Australians. Being an individual, I took the
participation in operations of first nation Australians. In this, I have found out that politics plays
a very crucial role in act of colonialism. As an individual I am benefited for undertaking
participation in the colonialism as this enhanced my cultural knowledge. I came to know about
the issues faced by the Aboriginal and Torres islander people. I have also identified the some of
the risk and challenges that has helped in facing aboriginal and Torres strait islander educators.
b. Define ways in which social workers complicit in oppressions created by colonialism and
colonisation.
Colonialism can be termed out as social pattern in which individual who are born in a
given country are used to get treated differently from those who immigrate to it. Social service
workers supported the recovery of the indigenous people from the worst impact of the
colonialism. In terms to offer the effective services, both indigenous and non-indigenous social
workers needs to be better prepared to work with the non-indigenous individuals. Colonization is
term that is inclusive of the control of the land and production by the aboriginal people through
the threat of war. Henceforth, social workers must understand the history and current issues that

created due to the colonization to work effectively with people who have got colonized. Goulet,
Lorenzetti and Claussen, C. 2016). They are the individual who are specialize in assisting
individuals, couples, families and group to tackle many kinds of issues and situation. Without
any understanding of the impact of colonization the things cannot be sorted with issue of
colonization.
c. Contribute to the liberation of first nations people by practising social work.
Social work skills are mainly needed for culturally competent social work with the
aboriginal people that used with general population (Burke, 2019) From the perspective of
Aboriginals people claim generates the greater knowledge that is mainly based on culture of
Aboriginal that finds the ways of transcending their oppression. I have identified that
decolonizing social work encounters the profession that take the new path and this is creative,
critical and revolutionary (Cooper, Delormier and Taualii, 2019). Henceforth, decolonizing is the
terms that creates the opportunities that promote traditional practices in the setting of
contemporary things. It is term that put the major consideration over the effects of globalisation
and the universalist of education, method of practice and development in internationalism that
fails to hold and recognize the local knowledge and techniques. Decolonizing termed out as
social works that mainly entails the dimension that is inclusive of identifying the all kind of
destructive belief and practice and this enables to reclaiming the indigenous practices and belief.
However, the successful decolonizing mainly improves the social work practices with the
indigenous and non-indigenous individuals. Colonialism is the term that is term that has huge
control over the land and the production by indigenous individuals through war or the threat of
the war. In order to provide the effective services, the colonization both indigenous and non-
indigenous social work students must be better prepared to work with the indigenous individuals,
families and communities. Thus, the family loss, cultures and communities has left the
inheritance of death, pain and devastation that mainly impacts the indigenous individuals in the
manner of multi-generational suffering (Cooper, Delormier and Taualii, 2019). Social workers
need to understand the dysfunctional behaviour of indigenous individual and families. I must say
that social work decolonizing is termed out as the practice in which sustainable harmony can be
realized with help of active engagement in local environments.

CONCLUSION
Hereby, it can be concluded that colonization can be termed out as the one or more group
of people migrates to an area that keeps the original language and culture of their homeland. It is
defined as desire of wealthy nations that mainly controls the other nations, values and perception
with help of cultural means such as language, education and religion. Furthermore, assignment
