Research explanation, ideas expansion and reflection-300
To conduct any research there is need to have good knowledge, skills and abilities to
gather information which can help to manage functions effectively. Research is the area of
conducting market research and developing understanding regarding particular topic that helps to
arrange all activities in systematic form.
When I was studying in college I did not have knowledge about types of businesses that
created issues for future opportunities. While studying in college my tutor has assigned me many
topics for the purpose of preparing a project by gathering various information and developing
knowledge about particular topic. I have chosen how commercial fishing impact on ocean life in
expectation of establishing own business within upcoming period. To manage working and bring
changes I prepared the notes about selected theme that supported me to complete research. While
doing project I analysed my own skills as I was good in communication, marketing, decision
making and problem solving that have increased my insights about selected theme and encourage
to make right decision (Deshpande, Skaar, Brattebø, and Fet, 2020).
It has seen that overfishing can impact entire ecosystem where it could change the size of
fish remaining, as well as produce speed. In changing environment, fishing became an important
commercial business which used by business concern in importing and exporting. This affected
the ocean life badly by reducing number of fishes that became important for human being. I
understood that commercial fishing has impacted on ocean life as it make water toxic due to
using many chemical to live alive fishes, aquafarming leads to more fishing that create massive
amount of waste and devasting environmental impact that affected ocean negatively. This was
good project for me which I completed in given period and managing all activities. I build a team
by selecting skilled and experienced people who could help me to understand and work on
specific project. I grab this opportunity after collecting various information and bring changes
effectively. The project also explained how to reduce the negative impacts of issues and manage
activities.

To introduce working and developing information regarding particular topic there is need to
follow the theory from which it has inspired to develop information. The current topic is about
how commercial fishing impacting on ocean life that support to run a business and developing
understanding about commercial aspects. This topic is related to Globalization theory.
Globalization is the process of interaction and integration between people, organizations, and
government worldwide that directly affected the business industry. To start any business there
should be conduct analysis and bring changes in their working that can help to bring
improvements. Overfishing is a commercial activity that uses by people to run their business at
different places with the help of import and export activities. This is important for follow
government rules and regulations where business is going to operate or products are going to
sale. If government is providing approval easily then business could grow in changing
environment and maintain higher performance. Globalisation helps businesses to spread their
business in relation to fishing, building new relations with other country, increasing sales and
developing the organizational productivity. This can help to regulate the business effectively in
changing environment and maintain higher performance (Deshpande, 2020).
Globalization is the speedup of exchanges and movements of good and services all over
the planet. This is important for each organization to conduct analysis of market or country
before starting a business that directly affected business performance. The management is
requiring to understand changing environment and formulate regulations that could support a
business and managing productivity. Overfishing or commercial fishing is serious threat to
oceans life as it reducing sizes and creating water pollution by using chemicals and affecting
environment negatively that affected business.
Thus, from the discussion it concluded that research is linked to globalization theory such
as political realism, liberalism, and constructivism that directly affects business activities. In case
there is political restriction in different country where business is running or exporting then it
might be created the challenges to operate their business (Jaco, and Steele, 2020).

The current theme is commercial fishing impacting on ocean life where a research is used to
collect data or information appropriately. This topic is related to globalization as fishing business
is not running in particular country but also it is running in whole world in the form of import
and export. In case all activities are running properly and by following government approval then
it will be good opportunity for business to grow (Langedal, Aarbakke, Larsen, and Stadig, 2020).
The multinational, multibillion-dollar marketable fishing industry has been reducing fish
populations about the planet for decades, driving many species toward extermination. In research
it has estimated that the fishing industry kills between 0.97 and 1.97 trillion wild fish worldwide
every year that impacts ocean life such as further straining fragile oceans and waterways that are
already poisoned by pollution from agricultural runoff, oil spills, and immense amounts of
garbage. Fish are important to the health of aquatic ecosystem, from small streams to large
oceans where a high range of fishes founded in oceans. Fishes are interlinked with food chain
system where people is demanding more in their food. Different types of fishes could be found in
oceans who is selling at different prices. Commercial fishing is doing by people for earning
profit, as it converts marine life into human food, fish meal for aquaculture, and different
products. This is different from subsistence fishing, because in this fishes are used for person
use, family, and their community feed. Whereas, commercial fishing is used to provide resources
and market around the world that supports to increase resources for markets around the world.
This is important for management to analysis market and establish a business by selling fishes
which is collected from ocean and other water places. The fish farming is considered as main
activity which uses by people for increasing population of fishes and improving the economy.
The advantages of conducting research is to develop understanding about particular topic
that becoming successful in further working. This can help to identify issues and problems which
is pertaining in business environment and provide the optimum solution. This supports to
increase skills and abilities of an individual and group of people who wants to set up their
business. This helps to know what changes should be introduced in business for the purpose of
running their business continuously. On the other side, commercial fishing business impacting
positively on globalization by creating more jobs for people who is unemployment, making

fishing a lot safer than aquaculture. This feeds the world demand for sea food that could support
to grow business effectively. This also helps to improve economic condition of particular country
by selling fishes at other place. This also supports to develop organizational productivity by
managing all functions and activities (Dullah, Malek, and Hanafiah, 2020).
On the other side, its cons: It involve reducing size of fishes on ocean that directly affect
human as well as ocean life negatively. To conduct the research about this topic was very
complex for researcher as number of data and information have verified to get outcomes. This
creates cost and affecting their life negatively (DeNucci, and et.al., 2020).
From the above it can be concluded that fish farming is the growing business in changing
environment where it became important to analysis demand and provide products to run business
appropriately.
Section 4- Write an introduction
Now a day environment is changing where different types of businesses are running for the
purpose of improving living standard and maintaining good performance. The fishing is the also
type of commercial business which used to fill customer demand and earning money. The report
helps to understand about commercial fishing and how impact the ocean life by collecting
information from various sources. Commercial fishing is becoming integral activity for business
concern that vary country to country affected the businesses. Globalization is vital aspect that use
by people to set their business from one place to another. This can help to manage the business

Section 5 - Write a conclusion
From the report it can be concluded that research is the process of conducting research in
relation to particular topic. There is need to have proper analysis and arrangement of information
