This report is going to focus on summarizing the advantages of various types of communication
such as written, verbal also how they differentiate between important and urgent communication.
MAIN BODY

Advantages and disadvantages of written communication
As finding different kinds of communication method, written way has many benefits in business
environment. Without communication, there will be rising disputes, improper information and
delays will be increase in business working. So that, written communication has many
advantages but some ,imitation also. If talk about advantages, written method is clear and
understandable rather than verbal as it includes clear sentences which does not require any ascent
to catch what speaker wants to convey. It is also beneficial for the receiver to read as many times
as they want to understand the facts which is not valid in oral ways. It is easy to write paragraph,
emails and texts by doing proper research of words and sentences and write the most valuable
content for the receiver. It contains record and data for permanent follow up and could acquire
wide excess in long business environment(Kim, and Choi, 2017). Apart from this, the another
side shows some of disadvantages for business environment of written way of communication as
it does not contain any privacy and records could be accessible for others. Written delivery of
information does not clear doubts at prompt basis due to which an organisation may suffer delays
and wastage of time.
Advantages and disadvantages of verbal communication
In the current dynamic and modern business environment, oral communication is necessary
within every department and among every individual. This way of communication provide a
quick and fast delivery of information, which gives a reliable set of data to the listener. The other
benefits include cost and time effective as speaker provide prompt delivery rather than wasting
time in writing and writing for the feedback. Employees of organisation require quick deliveries
and control over activities to make change and take decisions which is only be possible with oral
way of communication(Mior, 2018). Therefore, it is is a best mode to convey, guide and receive
feedback in a very less or no time. But, there are also some cons of oral communication which

needs to be undertake by business before moving to any decision. Informations and set rules
does not provide any surety as one may could deny in future what they said. Language barriers
is the main disadvantages for business as people with different culture could not cope up with
local speakers which may create issues in working( Xu, and Koivumäki, 2019). There will be
no set of records and agreements entitles by orally delivered messages also, it may cause issues
in leaking private facts of business which must be keep within the managers and top authorities.
Verbal communication may regulate easily in negative way within business environment and
organisation could suffer with improper environment of working. Therefore, there should make
proper control over both verbal and written communication methods to gain valuable results.

deadlines which could be on any time
basis.
Urgent task are based on priorities
which requires to be fulfil otherwise it

The report has concluded that communication is vital and important for carry out each and every
activity of business. Therefore, every method is significant in their own way but causes some
limitations also. So that, business needs top create balance in convening, outsourcing and
regulation information from one person to another. Privacy and records are importance factors
that needs to be taken into consideration.
