Introduction
The automotive industry of Australia is one of the leading motor industries. It
manufactures Ivecco powerstar and also semi trucks for the Australian market. The company
has huge chain of dealers and suppliers. They have three showrooms in three places in
Australia. They are known for their service and good quality of their products. They offer
good range of products and they have variety of models of the vehicles. They offer quality
service even after the delivery of the products. The organization was founded in the year,
1830. Initially the company manufactured cars but later it shifted the attention from cars to
semi trucks (Clibborn, Lansbury and Wright 2016).
Description
The organization opened the first branch in Port Melbourne, Victoria. It started as a
small-scale motor business. The organization at present is doing business in partnership with
the other manufacturers like Chevrolet, Isuzu, Nissan, Suzuki and Toyota. The company has
made remarkable progress in generating their revenue. It has opened other branches in
Brisbane and Sydney. They recently decided to expand their business in other parts of the
country. The organization manages the motor sport (Thoms and Holden 2016). The company
has huge man power today. It has at least 20 staffs in each show rooms and the company has
well-qualified mechanical engineers. The company has proper recruitment structure and it has
proper appraisal system. The company has many franchises in various parts of the country.
The organization have gained popularity in the recent world. The company is approached by
big companies for larger contracts. The organization has a structural internal as well as the
external system (Gwynne 2017).
The strength of the organization is the quality products and the quality service it offers
after the product is delivered. The variety and the range of the products is the strength of the

company. The company is large and it has a huge infrastructure. The weakness of the
company is the number of limited branches it has that acts as a limitation to their revenue.
The company has huge opportunity to capture the market where it has not yet explored. The
company has the scope to expand the business in the foreign lands and it can increase the
number of partners. The threat of the company is the competitors. There are many motor
companies in that area. This is the biggest threat of the company as they might lose some
potential customers (Maxcy and Silberston 2017).
