Ineffective communication affecting organisational successes
The main objective behind preparing annotated bibliography and this argumentative
paper is to justify the identified organisational issue concerning ineffective communication
affecting organisational successes. The discussion made in both the papers are based upon
series of studies made on organisational communication and performance.
The subject of business communication issue is been faced by many organisations that
is discussed in many scholarly articles who have worked in this filed as they have recognised
improper communication acting as a key barrier while maintaining successful performance
(Angwin, Mellahi, Gomes, & Peter, 2014). Even, Neely & Mosley (2018) finds that
managers often give more attention to workplace productivity along with employee
satisfaction for bringing positive outcomes. However, while focussing, they fail to understand
the significance behind effective communication and thus neglects implementation of
strategies related to effective communication.
Agarawal (2012) claims that most challenging role of crisis communication in
management requires quick responses as due to non-action results, many organisations face
humiliation, unnecessary litigation and prolonged visibility. Whike Gamil & Rahman, 2017
finds that poor communication has made many construction companies realise failures
around the globe and therefore pinpoints communication barriers as a significant issue in
construction industry, Odine (2015) addresses complexity in intercultural communication that
has made many international corporations consider training and development of
communication related skills.
The research made finds no doubt in validation of the research topic after identifying
the issue from academic lenses as well as through present literature. This paper concludes on
the notion that effective business communication is the key to organisational success and thus
