meaning, it includes tone of voice, environment cues, body language and facial expression. To
use this form person need to follow all principles such as they have to give a clear facial
expression that make other able to understand information to be given is good or bad.
Principles of effective communication to enhance practices
Wallace and et.al., (2017) highlight that people communicate all day long at work, home
with their next door neighbour and other places as well. They can communicate non-verbally,
verbally and in writing, its depend on situations. Unluckily, message send by sender does not
always come across as intended. Noise and high volume in companies can lead to
miscommunication and misunderstanding that is not good for workplace environment. But this
problem can be solved when people follow and adopt principles of effective communication that
are quite useful way to assure good communication and enhance work practices as well at
workplace. Completeness of information is one of the effective communication principles, that
makes interaction better than before. Incomplete content create gaps that may be filled by
individual accordant to their own perceptions. In order to increase productivity and performance
level of employees within firms management should provide full information why we are here
and what need to be achieved.
Johnston and et.al., (2019) stated that completeness of information or message in not
enough to enhance practices. Clarity in innovative ideas is the most important principles of
effective communication that cater many benefits such as help to drive staff towards success. It
must be clear in mind to sender as to what they want to say. According to this principle, it is the
first thing that person fully inform oneself. It can be said that clearer thoughts and ideas more
effective is communication.
According to Cooren, (2018) communication must be made in such a way that in invites
attention and focus of recipient to it, attention is the most important principles of effective
communication. For a applicable usage of this principle, it is insistent that not only must content
be expressed in sound manner or in pleasant, but also aim of sender in making interaction, needs
to be absolutely justified.
ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION OF ALL QUESTIONS
It can be said to make an effective communication people require using different forms of
communication. In context of, London underground situation face to face communication,
meeting, email and telephone can be implicated (Micallef and Kayyali, 2018). All these forms

can be used to communicate with staff and travellers. For example, when management identifies
technical issues at London underground related to tubes they can email to its staff who are able
to solve any technical problems in effective manner. Face to face communication can be used by
workers for consumers to communicate with them and provide information when tube are not
working due to technical issues.
The use of above forms of communication is quite helpful and beneficial to achieve better
operations in London tubes as it help to share information on timely and systematic manner. For
instance, by using face to face communication London underground workers can explain well to
consumers that what is the problem really, due to which the train is stopped (Henisz, 2017). It
creates a good relation between staff and passengers which is an essential operation of London
tube management. Furthermore, it can be analysed that by sending emails to all workers'
administration gather skilled applicants who are capble to solve technical issue at Tubes and
cater better services to travellers.
In order to improve communication practices across London underground tube, all above
principles of effective communication can be used by workers while communicating with
passengers. For example, workers with clarity of thoughts and information cater better info to
consumers which they can understand effectively. Information given by workers related to Tube
when passener listen carefully and give attention then they can communicate appropriately and
then ask any further info.
Communication evaluation
Language, poster, crowded tube and rush due to office hours are the different types of
communication barriers faced at London underground that direct impact on interaction between
workers and consumers. London is a very beautiful place where many people come to visit their
friends and family annually, but because of not knowing the language of local people in London,
they are unable to take any kind of information or unable to communicate with others. Along
with this issue, people are facing more while travelling in Tube at London underground. In order
to solve this problem travellers before visiting and travelling in tube must familiar themselves
with local language used in the London.
Furthermore, to solve other problems and overcome above barriers some possible
suggestions need to be followed by people which is quite beneficial for them as well as staff in
term of improving communication practices and building good connection.

RECOMMENDATIONS
As above discussion, several barriers of effective communication facing at London
underground that affect negatively when tourist try to communicate with other people.
Many better suggestions can be taken to overcome all those barriers. In context of
language barrier, travellers must understand and familiar with language residents in
London has been used to interact with each other (Dillette and et.al., 2017). Consumers
while travelling in tube should keep a small dictionary in their pocket to comprehend
word written in poster and said by other when they do not understand language, which is
quite effective.
False assumption is another barrier of communication leads misunderstanding. To
overcome this barrier management must put interesting and appropriate poster related to
directions for London underground. When utilized effectively, posters can catch eyes of
consumes and make them aware of issues that they would not otherwise have known
about.
Workers must use simple words while conducting face to face communication, their point
of view should be clear and be devoid of any mistakes. Words having different meanings
must be utilized to increase. By using simple and correct words, workers can also talk
about cases to many people.
It is seen that in London, people travel more and more on trains instead of using own
vehicles, well it is related to going to obtain come goods or with come other things.
Because of this, crowd increased and travellers are not able to communicate to each other
appropriately. To overcome this problem, management must communicate with staff via
using face to face communication form or email. They guide staff when people are more
in Tube they should go and give them directions how many people can adjust together
because of which it may be easier to communicate.
CONCLUSION
From above analysis, it has been concluded that by following the principles of
communication and using varied form of organizational communication staff can overcome
barriers and issues London underground faced.
