ABSTRACT
Communication is the medium of passing right message to the responsible person so that
they can perform their job role in well defined manner. There are various methods of
communication by which the learners can communicate to the right person so that they can have
the effectively communicate to its employees. Communist theory and Development
communication theory are the communication theories which is being used for effective
communication. There are various barriers of communication such as Lack of transparency and
trust, Inability to listen others and conflicts at the workplace. Further more there are further
strategies which is being used to over come the barrier of communication such as request and
provide feedback, be aware of body language and maintain eye contact so that they can ensure
the effective communication within the organisation.

INTRODUCTION
Communication is a act of giving, receiving and sharing information or in other words
talking or writing and can be listening and reading. It means that good communication listen
carefully, speak with respect in context to the various opinions. There are various modes of
communication which ensures the accurate information is being pass in order to have the
effective working within the organisation(Chen And et. al., 2021). This respective report will
analysis general theories of organisational communication and also evaluate the barriers of
communication that made employees willing to return to their work. Lastly, It will analyse the
strategies in order to overcome these barriers of business communications.
Analysis and Discussion
Discuss some general theories of organisational communication
Every business organisation is working with the sole aim of having effective working and
also having the effective consideration in the market. There is the need of effective
communication which ensures the better working within the company. There are certain theory
of organisational communication that are illustrate below:
Communist theory: it is the theory which was ideologies of Karl Marx and this said that
ruling class are the ruling ideas and it was Lenin who have thought of communist they and they
believe that the freedom of the press must be controlled. It is also stated that the education is the
prime factor and the main purpose of mass media. It says that the media must educate the people
instead of trying to give out information(Chan, 2021). It is means of knowledge promotion to
the people. This model also helps the employees to pass the right information to the people who
are having the working within the organisation.
Development communication theory: It is basic ideology which initiated the rise of this
theory which stated communication is the only source of development, without communication
which would not be development. Capitalism is the legalized within the four series but in aspect
to this theory, the media is supposed to analyse the role of developing strategies plans for the
society. Other than this, there is no such significant role for the media that focused by this theory
and this also support this theory for the government which also helps in the betterment of the
employees.

Standpoint theory: It is the aspects which focuses on the various social category and this
also support and stated that every individuals having different rant in the social group and it
results very person to have the different views from certain experiences. This individual's
perspective gives a close look at the social structure and on the same hand it leads to have the
lower category of social hierarchy which tends to have effective view and better understanding
of social system which helps in uplifting the individual in the company.
Actor-network theory: It is the theory which is commonly known as ANT. It also
suggests that both the actor and the various networks are responsible for the higher success of the
company. As per this theory, both the human and non-human aspects are important and
accountable for the innovation in content to technology and also leads to have knowledge
creation process as well. This theory basically focuses on getting the network and then analyse
how this network leads to have success.
Evaluate the barriers of communications that made employees unwilling for returning to their
work.
Regardless to the type of communication, when the individual do not communicate
effectively then the individual themselves at risk. There are certain barrier of effective
communication that the every employees face within the workplace and these are given below:
Inability to listen others: when the individual is not listening to the other person which
is also leading to have the transfer of wrong information to the other employees which
leads to take place the inappropriate actions within the organisation. Active listening is
the important task which is essential at the work place so that they can ensures the better
working and the right information is being to the concern person(Anser And et. al.,
2021). When the people are not listening nay of the employees then they cannot be
engage with the person.
Lack of transparency and trust:It is difficult to communicate the person there is lack of
transparency and trust among the people. For say, when the staff believes that the person
is holding back. Then they will be perform the job role in ineffective manner and this
results in more difficult to attempt to make the better communication within the
workplace so that they can have the higher level of dis trust and lack of transparency
within the workplace.

Dissatisfaction with job: when the individual is not happy at the workplace or leading to
loose the interest in the given job role. This occurs in having ineffective communication
among the employees and they both are receiving ends (Paul and Simmons, 2021). It is
most difficult to overcome as it involve the changing a mind set of the individual and
basically does not change the person until they leave. When leads to having the lay-off of
the employees at the given job role and also having the better consideration in the market.
With the help of effective communication an individual cam have the effective working
environment within the organisation.
Conflicts at the workplace: this can be happened for a variety of reason and this become
the barrier in order to have the effective communication. Conflict needs to be resolved in
order to get the effectiveness in the working of the employees so that they can contribute
to the higher level of productivity and profitability. This leads to have the higher level of
working and disruption within the workplace.
Outline the strategies in order to overcome these barriers.
There are various strategies which helps in overcoming the communication barrier within
the workplace and these are given below:
Be aware of body language: It includes the facial expression, body language and certain
non-verbal which plays the major role in an effective manner. It is very important for the
communicators to taken are of their body language so that they can rightly convey the
message to the concern person and make them understand. This also support the
individual that what they are trying to communicate to the person in order to have the
better consideration in the market(Zhang and et. al., 2021). This also helps in the better
consideration of the market so that they can rightly pass their message to the other
person.
Maintain eye contact:when the individual is gaining the better consideration in the
market then they tends to have the high growth rate which leads to send the right message
to the right person to make them understand. Eye contact show that the listener is paying
attention to the other person and which are an active part of communication. This also
leads to overcome the barrier and maintain good relationship within employees which
leads to have good brand image in the market.

Request and provide feedback: It is vital to have the appropriate suggestion and the
feedback of the listener which helps in the development of the various aspects of the
company and also helps in the overall functionality. When the feedback is received then
it will be easy to understand whether the right information is being pass to the listener or
not and make the change accordingly in order to state the right message to the listener.
Don't interrupt: when the two people are talking then they must listen to each other
carefully as this helps in the betterment in the development of the individual so that they
can rightly improve the communication channel within the organisation. Effective
listening helps the individual to have the better consideration to the information so that
they can make then understand. This also helps in the betterment of the company which
also leads to have the better consideration in the company to state the right information to
the right person.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it is concluded that communication is the process passing right
message to the concern person so that all the task can be operated in an appropriate manner.
There various communication organisational theory such as classical theory, Development
communication theory:Standpoint theory and Communist theory which help the company to
have the effective working in order to have the better consideration within the organisation.
Moreover, there are challenges which is being faced during communication are Inability to listen
others and Dissatisfaction with job which also needs to be over come with the help of strategies
such as be aware of body language, request and provide feedback, don't interrupt during the
communication.
