Introduction
Digital communications mean transferring the information from one place to another, in
this transmission is done through a physical path (Beverungen et al., 2019). In this report,
“Benefits of digital communication in workplace” argument will be discussed. The paper also
focuses on providing information about the problems and resources used in digital
communication.
“Benefits of digital communication in the workplace”
The above studies describe that organization gets several benefits through adopting the
strategy of digital communication (Edirisinghe & Lingard, 2016). It provides more transparency
in the work and can raise easiness. This also supports the organization by increasing the
coordination as well as teamwork in the organization, it is because through this person can get
more ideas about better decision making (Flyverbom et al., 2016). The studies also revealed that
digital communication can also raise organization productivity and provide various financial
benefits by installing efficient communication software. Therefore, through this better budgeting
structure will be developed about the activities of the organization, this leads to reducing
organizational cost and time (Davison & Ou, 2017). However, there are also some problems
which corporation faced in digital communication such as more expenditure and sometimes
become time-consuming because of taking more time in transmitting important information
(Thorson & Wells, 2015). The studies also demonstrate that digital communication organization
requires the skilled employee and sufficient funds.
Conclusion
From the above, it is concluded that an organization uses various technologies to enhance
communication in the organization. It provides various advantages to the organization such as
decrease expenditure and involves more people in decision making. It can also support the
organization to sustain in a highly competitive environment.
