CONCLUSION
So therefore, it becomes very important to
promote the resort and its safety to the
different group of people, differently as they
will be attracted towards the culture of the
resort. The resort must provide food of
different countries so that they can provide
their customers, the feeling of their home
country.
For this the following are the strategies
discussed below:
Understanding the needs and
requirements of the audience: One must
have the feeling of emotional and
sensitiveness towards the requirements of
the receiver because this will help them in
enabling the behaviour, nature, culture and
religion (McQuail and Windahl, 2015).
Taking care of language, tone and manner
of speaking: The message which is required
to be communicated with the people, it
must have a proper language which is easily
understood by people. This also consist of
proper tone and way of speaking such that
the people will feel impressed.
Make the use of body languages: During
the process of communication, the director
must make use of certain body languages
like eye contact, head movements, hands
actions, etc. This will help the listener in
knowing that the communicator is
interested in the thoughts and actions.
Minimisation of level of noise: While
interacting with the people, the director of
the resort will take into account that there is
no voice or any kind of disturbance while
interaction as this will have an adverse
impact. It can destruct the communication.
Awareness of cultural influences on
communication and negotiation.
Culture has strong influence on
communication and negotiation as the resort
is opening in Srilanka where people from
different culture and society will visit. This
is because it is targeting the international
tourist and due to increase in globalisation it
will have customers and employees from
different part of the world. It includes,
religion, beliefs, gods, food, etc. which
changes from different culture to culture. So
for this, the director of resort owner will
have special course in order to make people
of the resort aware about the culture of
different countries and treats the people
similarly (McCroskey, 2015).
