Reflection on communication and collaboration working
The overall experience related to this task is so good because during this, I gain
knowledge and also enhance my current skills related to communication. We are working with a
four members and while working in a team I understood that team working is more beneficial as
compared to working individual because we all share our views and ideas to each other in order
to make this work more presentable. Further, I also enhance my communication skills because
earlier I feel shy and never communicated with others, at the time of preparing the project, I
realize that I overcome from this. Moreover, I also realize that there are four main types of
communication methods such that verbal, written, non- verbal and visual which I learn from this
project.
On the other side, I also gain knowledge related to different models such that to develop a
team, Tuckman 5 stages of team development is used, while for managing the team, Belbin 9
roles model is used (Tjosvold and Tjosvold, 2015). In the same way, to manage our team, I also
uses this model that helps to perform the task in better way. The entire journey during this
project is quite perfect and we all develop a team working skills and also realize that with
effective communication skills and collaboration skills, we will definitely deliver the task in
more effective way. In addition to this, during the project, we faces many adverse situation, but
we take decision with patience and as a result, we deliver good project as well. For instance, 2
members of our team feel low, and at that time, other members of my team motivates them and
always cheers so that they easily build confidence and as a result, they feel motivated as well.
Therefore, it clearly reflect that with the helps of team members, a person can easily perform
every difficult task in perfect way, the same we did also.
Beside this, in the entire project, I also come to realize that I gain knowledge related to
models and observe that management, organizational culture and structure creates direct impact
upon the communication and collaboration within the organization (Çemberci and Civelek,
2018). In the same way, with the help of two small business who are working together in order to
launch a cycle to work scheme is also helps to determine the importance of working in the group.
Moreover, I also observe that due to having an effective communication and collaboration within
an organization, the business may easily provide the positive working environment and as a
result, it also improve the employee retention as well. Overall, I analyzed that working in the
team will help to brings lot of ideas and learning so that the person will easily take a right

decision for the welfare of the company. In the same way, when we were working in a team,
everyone presents own views and with proper collaboration, we enhance current knowledge and
also deliver the project in better way.
