INTRODUCTION
Communication and collaborative working plays essential role that increases teamwork in
workplace structure. Along with this, it also enhances collaborative working, communication
flexibility and creativity that enhance overall productivity with the help of shared responsibility
(Farahian and Parhamnia, 2021). Both of these play important role that enhance overall
efficiency of individuals within team and organisational structure. Reflection is defined as a
practice in which individual reflects the bad and good experiences gained by them in past on
certain project. It is essential for leaders and managers to effectively develop collaborative and
communication skill in order to maximize performance and potential of individuals in this
competitive world. Present report has been conducted on reflective evaluation of personal
collaborative and communication skill that has been developed during the project.
MAIN BODY
Gibbs reflective cycle
Gibbs reflective cycle is a structure that was developed by Graham Gibbs in the year 1988.
This structure provide individual to demonstrate the experience from their learning in the form of
thoughts and feelings (Olley, 2021). With the help of this cycle person can effectively evaluate
good as well as bad experiences by effectively evaluating situation. In addition to this it has been
identified that, with the help of Gibbs reflective cycle person can make conclusion related to the
things that has been learnt by them, along with the manner to make for making improvements in
them in future. With the help of this cycle one can effectively evaluate the performance and can
make improvement in future and in their learning. Furthermore it has been underlined that Gibbs
reflective cycle facilitates a person to determine their experiences and make balance and accurate
judgement in a well defined and effective manner. Mentioned below reflective cycle reflection
on communication and collaborative working skill is being done, along with the manner in which
further improvements are required to be made. In addition to this, I have enhanced by

to conduct roles in collaborative way. However, it is essential for me to build relation building
skill with the help of engaging in more group activities. It is essential for leaders and managers to
have relationship building skills in order to gain more development and progression.
Description:
There was a group working assignments in which it has been decided to divide different
section of task among individuals. This is done in order to effectively accomplish the project in
estimated deadline. Each and every individual given themselves enough amount of time in order
to drop their individual plan to accomplish the work in effective manner. For example, in order
to conduct activities every individual is divided with separate task according to expertise. It
effectively enhanced satisfaction level of every individual and they responded with successful
results. In this task I was responsible to divide individual’s roles according to their skills.
Feelings:
I was quite happy when work gets divided among each and every individual. However, later
task not accomplished according to time. This increased my level of frustration that affected me
to perform in the project. In addition to this other team members help me to work harder and
complete work in effective manner. This made me feel satisfied as before I was not much
motivated due to the lack of time management. For example, at the initial stage I felt dissatisfied
to perform my role due to ineffective time management. But my team members motivated me in
effective way.
Evaluation:
According to the reflective evaluation of my work in project it has been identified by me
that things were good and I work in an effective manner. It has been determined by me that each
individual produce good quality of work in estimated deadline. Collaboration has been enhanced
between us after an incident for example, two individual cancelled plan that further motivated us
to work in a more hardworking manner as to accomplish project in estimated time line. This
effectively enhances collaborative working skill, as in this each and every individual motivates
other to complete the time in estimated time plan.

group thinking will help in accomplishing project in future in effective manner while

also learnt by me that some time we have to challenge the decisions in group in order to make
sure that there is positive communication prevails. It helps in increasing engagement of each and
every individual in group work that lead towards collaborative working.

I will surely communicate them about the strengths that they possess. With the help of this work

enhance productive working relationship. It also maximizes collective strength that effectively
maximizes team working and collaboration (Jones, 2021). In this project I have assigned with the
role of coordinator in which I have to co-ordinate each and every activity among team members.
This role effectively enhanced my communication and collaborative working skill in which
effectively evaluate task according to the plan requirements. Belbin team role play important role
as with the help of this formative collaboration can be placed that enhance overall productivity.

time effective manner. Furthermore, it has been underlined that reflective practice facilitates a
person to manage emotions with the new insight of self evaluation practice.Gibbs reflective cycle
is one of the most effective forms of reflective model through which self observation and self
evaluation can be undertaken in an effective manner. This model benefits in increasing
awareness while evaluating challenges that has been experienced. With the help of this model
critical thinking skills and other form of skills can be developed in an effective manner.
