INTRODUCTION
Communication and collaborative working is an important fundamental where individual
and group behaviour while workings together. I am going to critical reflect my personal
experience using various skill and ideas to achieve the common objectives in cross culture work
force in the organization. The communication plays an important role in the personal as well
professional development. This blog describe the various impact of collaboration on creating and
manage the professional working environment with better communication. Power and politics
will be the anther incident in the organization. From the development plan of various skill need
to improve according to the time period and method explained.
Task 1
A) Critical incident: Cross Culture People Working together in an organization face
communication barrier.
I am working with the leading brand organization where the working environment is full
of cross culture people. Cross culture refers as the people from various cultural backgrounds will
communicate in same and different ways among themselves and how they endeavour to
communicate across culture. This types of organization try to brings same policies for the
employees according to the analysis of values and ethics of employees working in the firm. All
the employees have to work as team with the proper collaboration in each and every task. As the
team form to achieve the common objectives Thompson, (2011). The most important aspect of
cross culture is communication way to understand the issues of employees. Organization have
various division where I have to manage all the division carefully and interact with each and
every employee to know their issues and give better solution. Two team were form in the various
division but in one of the department team are not able to working together due to
communication barrier and the reason is the cross culture of the firm. Group member are not able
to communication with each on other because they don't know the language of other members. In
the 21st century communication in firm has been change due to the cross culture
workforceEunson, (2015).
Feeling:From the critical incident I feel that cross culture play an significant role in the
organisation to make the effective working environment. For such instance the communication
barriers among the group members. My role were to guide the group members and give effective
suggestion on the basis of their problem. I think to deal with this types of situation at work place

I had experience that various thing are not done properly as the workforce is not able to
manage their time and my time management skill are not appropriate. But the positivity in the
organisation bring the better working environment. I am not able to to accomplish the different
activities due to poor planning skills. I saw from the idea of working over the limits that the
administrations clients can get influenced because of the ill-advised execution of the people. The
joint effort can make an extraordinary effect on the execution of the people, assemble work can
be influenced the energy of the seniors and political components inside a group or gathering. On
the other hand each and every member is not able to understand the feeling of the each other in
terms of understanding their language and values of working in the organisation. I had evaluate
that communication barrier among groups member with me is increasing due to less interaction.
It is important to arrange the training session for each and every member for the effective
collaboration and communication for working together ins the cross culture organisations. I had
observe that creativity and innovation will be evolved with the more collaboration working
together in a team members.
From the critical incident I had experience that effective collaboration can be done with
the following thing such as: Build strong relation with each and every member of the
organisation, Set the collaborative culture, Form the structure, Attach informal knowledge
sharing, correct measure period of collaboration with people, manage conflicts effectively and it

maintain effective relation with the team members which brings the communication gap which
cause the adverse impact on the working environment and behavioural changes on the others
affect to collaborate with them. It is important to focus on the outcomes which are important
achieve the various objectives which can help to develop the personal and professional career. I
have to set priority to manage my time to accomplish the different activity in the organisation.

positivity among the group member s and motivate team will work together to achieve the
common objectives. It is important to remove the politics among the group in the organisation
which can be easily done with the help of firms structure which will be form on the basis of same
culture member need to separate to avoid any politics in the organisation McLeskey, Rosenberg
& Westling, (2012). It is important for me to avoid the politics and power among the various
groups which can cause negative working environment. This type of employees will reduce the
productivity of other members as well my own working style will be affected.
