Introduction
Communication is the two way process which consist of sharing and receiving the
information from one person to another. It is essential for every individual to gain effective
communication skill so that they can share information appropriately so that opponent person
will understand the message properly (Claro and et. al., 2018). Communication skill is one of the
most important employability skill for every individual. There are various kind of ways by which
a individual can enhance these skills such as gathering actual facts and figures to convey
message, understanding the common language of receiver and convey message in same language
and there are many other ways to enhance communication skills. The following report covers
identification of three basic issues of communication skill from the given article and examine the
solution to mitigate the issues well. This report also covers recommendations related to
enhancing communication skill. The main issues which is going to discussed in this report are
issues related to speaking and understanding the local language where a individual is having job
and needs to deal with customers in local language. Second issues is the most of the new joiners
in the company are having lack of ICT skills which examine the digital technology skills used for
effective communication (Kelly, Tarshis and Meringolo, 2019). The last issues is related to
reliability of information which is shared from one person to another in communication process.
Analysis
Key ideas and argument related to the issue and supported with the 3 articles provided
Issue 1- Speaking and understanding the language
1st module of the report discuss about the importance of speaking and understanding local
language of those country where the individual if having job and require to deal with
communicating with company's customers (Khan and et. al., 2017). Most of the students in UK
are searching jobs out of the country which require to deal with local language and due to this
issues most of the students who are unable to learn language lack behind to find their interest
jobs. Hence, language is one of the most essential element of communication skill. If a person is
unable to convey their message in appropriate language which is easily understandable by
audience then the message will not received by them and the message which they want to convey
the audience will get impacted badly.

Hence, there is a solution of this issues and that is students in UK are required to learn at
least three common languages which are German, Japanese and French which help them to find
appropriate job because most of the students went for Germany, France and Japan for
employment. It is also essential for the students to analyse in which country they are aiming to
perform their jobs and at what job roles. Analysing the location of job will help the students to
focus on learning the local language of that location appropriately and save their time and efforts
from learning other languages. Students can start coaching of learning different language where
they aim to find the job.
Issue 2- Lack of ICT skills
ICT stands for Information and Communication Technology and these are those digital
devices and tools which are used by individual to share their messages from one person to
another (Majeed, 2018). It is mentioned in the module two that most of the new joiners are
having lack of ICT skills which means they are unable to use the technology in appropriate way
for conveying any message to their targeted audience. Few of the new joiners are unable to
handle basic computer issues which is impacting bad upon companies to invest high on the
training for those skills which the joiners can easily learn by themselves or at their universities.
Hence, it is essential for students to attend computer classes at their universities or they
can opt to take basic computer skills at coaching outside their universities. It is also essential for
universities to have a different courses for computer learnings in their universities. So that their
students will have opportunities to clear their basic concepts of computer learnings. Conducting
practical tests and exams on regular basis will also help the students to learn about different tools
and devices for communication and the ways to use them effectively. There are few courses
available related to ICT which are internationally recognised such as International Computer
Driving License (ICDL) which is required to teach in schools and universities to the students and
making them well aware about the benefits of such courses in their professional careers (Majeed
and Ayub, 2018). Internships in companies for university students will help the students to gain
the knowledge and experience of how companies work and use their different devices to
communicate with each other at the workplace.
Issue 3- Reliability of information
It is essential for the individuals to share reliable information and understand the
appropriate use of the ICT devices (Müller and Antoni, 2020). The main issue is that individuals

are unable to use the simplest technique of of conducting their performance. If a student is
unable to transfer the spreadsheet to e-mail than they will considered as ill-equipped for their
organisation. Hence, students must know the concept of data handling and securing their data
effectively.
Hence, companies are required to invest high providing trainings to their employees for
maintaining and securing their data effectively. It is essential for the students to learn basic
computer problem solving issues at their learning age and before starting their professional
careers. Motivating students to participate more in problem solving activities in computer labs
and encouraging them to perform their best for their benefit (Maryuningsih and et. al., 2020). On
the other hand, it is essential for universities to encourage their students for innovative learnings
by providing innovative and less effort idea to complete the task effectively and maintaining
their data collection and storing activities appropriately on digital media.
Conclusion
From the above information it is concluded that communication skill is one of the most
important skill for an individual to get success in their professional career. There are various
ways to learn communication skills. It is also concluded that the language plays an important role
in effective communication. Knowing the language of audience and sharing information in their
local or well known language is most essential for making communication effective. For
example, when a marketing employee conduct marketing research then it is compulsory that they
will communicate with their customers in market and analyse their preferences well and for this
they are required to communicate with same language in which they are comfortable. On the
other hand, it is also concluded that Information and Communication Technologies plays an
important role to share data from one person to another through digital devices. Hence, it is
essential for individuals to have common ICT knowledge and skills for their professional career.
Analysing some of the important tools and devices and gaining knowledge about how to use
them effectively will help the students to gain high reputed job will less efforts on training.
Recommendations
From the above module few of the recommendations are made and these recommendations are
mentioned below-

It is recommended to the students that they must analyse the location where they set their
aim to start their career and get success. This will help them to analyse what are their
local spoken language and by this students can start their coaching and focus more to
learn the language appropriately. Hence, watching You Tube videos on basic language
learning tutorials is helpful for students to start learning different language.
It is also recommended to the students that they will focus to learn about ICT well and
attend regular computer classes in their universities to gain the knowledge related to
effective use of ICT tools. Universities and schools are also recommended to conduct
practical tests and exams on regular basis to analyse whether their students are gaining
appropriate knowledge about ICT or not.
It is also recommended to universities to start scholarship for ICT learning in their
courses so that students will gain interest to learn more ICT courses and get scholarship
for the course.
It is also recommended for universities to influence their students to attend those
seminars and speeches which is related to ICT tools and their effective use within the
organisation. This will help students to know about various techniques and usage to use
their digital tool for performing their tasks.
It is also recommended so students that they must apply for internship in organisations at
their final year of graduation to understand how organisational practically use their
different types of tools and machines to communicate with each other.
