Communication can be explained important task for human life as well as business
industries as it used to share the ideas, and thoughts for the purpose of developing a business and
managing the higher performance (Gehlert, Choi and Friedman, 2019). In health and social care
industry communication is used to participate in all functions and providing the good treatment
to all their patients. This report is covers different aspects in relation to communication in health
and social care.

In health and social care communication is useful as it helps to share the thoughts and
ideas with other person that can help to make the right decision and providing good health. This
also used to inform patients and their family in their care, and demonstrate to improve adherence

Actor Networking theory: This theory is related to effective communication that uses
by individual and group of people to maintaining the clear communication. Human and non-
human influences are highly focused in the progress of technological advancement and scientific

It is very important that to recognise that people and individual by communicating with
them. The language and preference of people is different where they communicate in different
language and culture that can be easily understand. This can help to developing the skills and
abilities of people who works in the workplace and supports to accept the challenges. In other
words, communication needs vary depending on disability, understand ability, illness or personal
preference (Finset, and et.al., 2020).
Explanation of factors that influence communication and interaction
Body language: This is the part of communication which used by people to share their
views.
Face expression: This involves happy, sad, surprised, and scared that uses by individual
and group of people to communicate.
Tone of voice: This is most important in conversing with other people and need to listen
very carefully. This can help to maintain the friendly environment and solve the all problems
effectively.
Gesture and posture: The arm, hand, and head movements used to help explain what a
human is trying to communicate are known as gestures. When talking is not possible, for
example, people use hand language to talk.
Language: This is another factor which can be used by people to make understand and
communicate with people for the purpose of providing good services.
How barriers to communication can be overcome
In health and social care industry different types of communication barriers are facing by
individual and patients that affected their health negatively. This is important for each
organization to provide the proper training, and learning skills to their employees how to treat
and communicate their patients that can help to solve the problems. There is need to have
knowledge about different language, voice of tone, pitch, gesture and posture which can be
easily understand by others for the purpose of providing good health care services and increasing

bring higher productivity and performance in the changing environment. Communication is the
way to understand the problem and providing an optimum solution to people for developing the
health performance and completing the task effectively (Bucci, Schwannauer and Berry, 2019).
How to access additional support or service to enable individual to communication effectively
Communication is the sharing of information between two people that can help to
managing the higher performance. While providing products and health care services it is
important to understand what people wants and then it can be satisfied. Communication is
supporting a person living with mental and physical health by providing proper caring services
and managing the higher performance. This can help to solve the problem which is running in
business and social care then increase the human lives.
