Therefore in such situations which was faced by the Londoners and the tourist while
travelling in the same to tube is to act as a negotiator and try to bill effective relationship
with one another rather than fighting and creating chaos for each other. For a negotiator an
individual needs to show respect for each other’s culture rather than judging them on the
basis of it. Along with that the localities and the travellers have to understand and be
aware of each other prospective on their cultures and should communicate in such a way
which do not enjoy their feelings rather than that will provide them an appropriate and

Be aware of language, tone and content of message- The sender of the message is the
person who starts the communication and who initiate the transfer of messages. The
sender is always suggested to take care of the fact that the message should be framed
appropriately and clearly with beautiful language. Either tourist for a locality is starting
the conversation they should be aware about their language and most importantly the tone
of the message. They should keep in mind that the tone of the communication should not
injure or harm the feelings of the receiver. Along with it the sender also have to make sure
that the message that they are trying to convey is brief and excessive. I should ignore the
use of technical words which are very difficult to understand by the other person or group
of people.
Be a good listener- At the time of communication there are at least two parties involved
or more, one is a sender and the other party or the group of people are the receivers. In
order to make their communication effective and attain a particular conclusion it is very
important for the listener to be attentive and to patiently listen the sender who is
communicating. the people in need to understand that once they listen properly then only
they can provide the feedback or revert to the sender for continuing the interaction. if the
receiver do not receive the message properly as he or she was not attended then it is not
possible to provide the appropriate reply to the sender which enters the communication
and therefore it is suggested to people that they listen to each other first and then reply and
react.
LO6
Demonstrating awareness of cultural influences on communication and
awareness.
Culture profoundly influences the way how people think, they behave and more
importantly how they communicate. Culture also has a significant influence and affects
the kind of transactions people are making and the way they are negotiating them.
Difference in culture between people can create a lot of barriers that completely and
negatively impacts the negotiating process. The diversity of the world’s culture makes
it very difficult and impossible for any negotiator no matter how skilled they are and
the amount of experience they hold, to appropriately and fully understand all the
different cultures that they make be encountered with. Therefore it is very obvious that
culture differences create a lot of barriers in the way of effective communication taking
place in in two different parties. Negotiation is also a part of communication which
means that the negotiator towards a particular objective, build relationship and resolve
different disputes. Many negotiators know that it is the most important to do they have
for successful negotiation to take place. Negotiation becomes more difficult and more
important to when the negotiator understand that the negotiation process includes two
different parties belonging to different cultures.
