REFLECTION
This is the reflective paper of my own experience and group task that was allotted to us. I
and my teammates came across during the period when I was completing my studies. The
experiences are related to the importance of communication and negotiation skills which are
important for an individual's life and also accomplishing different tasks in an effective way.
Communication skills are those skills with the help of which it is made possible to make transfer
of facts, ideas and feelings from one person to another (Ahmed and et. al., 2015). Along with
this, negotiation skills are also important in which the individuals make use of settlement in order
to reduce the level of differences for the betterment of both the parties. At every phase of life, an
individual is required to make use of these skills so that it could become possible for them to
make improvement in the career goals and objective of an individual. The need and requirement
of communication skills is at the time of learning when the teacher is providing the students with
some important work and teaching to the students. Along with this, it is also important to in
order to make two way communication so that they could be provided with what is going in the
minds of students and along with this, it will also be made possible to understand that what the
teacher in return is conveying to the students as well. Not only in the students' life, but also the
personal and professional level, communication is made with many different people which are
important for an individual's life and that could help in bringing positivity in their minds or for
the accomplishment of different tasks with which they are provided with (Botan, 2017). With the
help of these skills it will be possible to remove the differences in between different individuals
for the betterment in their relation with each other and the benefit of all. Also there are different
theories and models with the help of which improvement could be made in the communication
skills as well as to negotiation skills as well. Looking back, mending forceps may well have been
considered by various individuals. I pushed the one hour limit and my communication skills as
far as possible with him and my other teammates. My coach wasn't happy with me and other
team members as to what extent this arrangement took however it was every one of the an
expectation to absorb information. I was not idealistic for an improvement in his oral well-being
when he returned. I was readily mixed up, with clinical scores all heading the correct way. This
experience opened my eyes to the significance and advantages of viable correspondence to
improve the result in the all the more testing patients. I had to work very had with my whole

team so that I could get their support in completion of the assigned work and assistance of the
coach.
I attempted to keep the estimation of good relational abilities high up on my plan when
seeing patients, for the reasons recently expressed, and I was truly beginning to perceive how
much simpler dentistry could be at one time the patient is your ally and feels completely
associated with what is happening, in contrast with when they are definitely not. It's a given that
the specialized side of dentistry needs to likewise be capable (Deveugele, 2015).
According to the instances of (Van Ruler, 2018), Communication is an important factor
for the success and growth for not an individual but also for the organisation as well. As I had
come across this type of situations many times when with the help of communication skills, it
become possible for me to remove the situations of negotiations with the help of words only. The
improvement in my work and performance has also been possible with the help of improving my
communication skills. I interacted with juniors and seniors in a good way and with the help of
this, it has become possible for me to make them to understand things in a proper way. However,
it took much time to make them to understand what I wanted to convey to them but with the
passing of time they know about me and my ways of expressing of views and ideas and I also
come to know about their own ways and ideas of expressing their view points as well.
With instance of viewpoints of (Giles, 2016), along with this, in order to make
improvement in the negotiation skills as well, there are different theories which can be used to
make improvement in them. As such, in order to make improvement in the level of negotiation
skills of an individual, the improvement will be made in the negotiation skills by making use of
Conflict Resolution. This will help in making improvement in my negotiation skills that will help
me in reducing the level of conflicts such as by finding out some news ways of settlement.
Refereeing is a basic to deal with the situations of clashes in a decent and productive manner.
Since there can be clashes of their characteristic of the working environment, there is a
significant that has to be part of the market like it has never been before. There are some
individuals expertise for determining and clashes (Drew, 2018). It is very significant in case of
present market like it had been taken never before. Everybody has to attempt their task to show
that they are so significant to the organization who are working before & again, this can prompt
debates with different individuals from the team. Wherever there are some individuals, there
consistently will be a situation of strife. Administrators have to manage strife in their working

environment consistently. Peace promotion is the capacity to having the option of distinguishing

doesn't help the supervisor, it is the way maintaining of a strategic distance from various issues

admirably when the issue is trifling or when the administrator gets no opportunity of winning.
Working together supervisor that has to be accomplish with one another to
accomplishment of their objectives in the style. This is the manner by which chiefs break free of
the success lose world view and look for the success win. This can be viable for such type of
complex situations, where supervisors have to locate their novel arrangement. Competing is the
success of this a form of lose approach. A manager is performing in an extremely confident
manner of accomplishment of their objectives without looking for helping their other
representatives & it is the basic detriment of such various workers. This is a method might for
crises management when time is of the element (Hargie, 2016).
Communication theories I learnt are Actor network theory: This theory is suggests
that there are some factors that are playing an influential role in succession the technological
innovation. It is a theory that is formed for purpose of achievement of certain outcomes.
Adaptive structuration Theory (AST): Organisations & groups are creating various
resources & rules that are commonly defined as structures. Such structures actually help in social
systems in development of structures that are impacting their decision making.
The above discussed are the two theories that I have learnt these theories that will be
helping me and my all the team members in decision making.
With the help of this model or concept, it will be possible for me to find out different
solution to the particular situations which are being faced by me. Improvement will also be made
in my skills and knowledge and it will be possible for me to make my future more brighter and
lighter with the help of these skills and knowledge in me. I will be able to make my focus on
only single thing where I want to make my focus keeping aside the conflicts and other
negotiation situation. In future as well, I will make sure about the continuous evaluation of my
own skills and knowledge with the help of which I could achieve the goals and objectives of my
organisation in an effective manner. Not only the evaluation but the improvement will also be
