INTRODUCTION
Effective communication describes the methods to convey the respective
information to another one in an effective and efficient manner. Effective
communication plays a very important role in the professional context
whether it is used in the academic state or in the employment state. This
essay focuses upon the reflection of effective communication in the
professionalism.

Effective communication plays a very important role in the professionalism.
According to my experience, within the workplace it is quite important to
communicate effectively with our team and other members as this helps to
build a positive relationship within the workplace. Furthermore, Gibbs model
of reflection helps a person to enhance their professional skills by identifying
the strengths and development area (Adeani, Febriani and Syafryadin, 2020).
This model has 6 learning stages and on following these steps the theoretical
framework of experience became possible. On using this way of
communication in my professional career I personally observe the effective
work by team members as well as the growth in our productivity as well.
According to the idea of description, within the job in an organization, I
was working in the designing team and I had a task to present the new
design for the organic product then I have used effective communication in
that presentation by implementing real data and ideology behind the product
design. As per the question of all the team members I have listened them
carefully and then answered them with real time data stating the actual
problem and the effective solution of the problem accordingly. This way my
communication helped me to work effectively within a group in my
professional career (Демиденко, В., 2021).
Among the foundation of feeling model, before the experience I have
felt nervous in a way how to respond the queries in front of others, how to be
loyal with the statistics as my design was all about being organic and no

chemical should be used in this product as they can have various side effects
as well. But after presenting my idea, I have responded focusing upon the
quality of product, most of the team was agree with me. However, with
listening everyone carefully I have realized the actual problem they were
thinking of and then I offered them solution by explaining the complete
fundamentals behind the new design. This way I have used the listening and
questioning skill among my communication (Wassermann, S., 2017). This
effective communication helped me to communicate effectively in front of
everyone.
In accordance with the idea of evaluation, I have realized that the
questions and feedbacks from the other side were somehow helped me to
maintain the good communication throughout the process. Some team
members have shown the resistance towards my idea of becoming organic
as it was resulting in the higher cost as they want idea suitable for the cost-
cutting of product and result can be in term of huge benefit. So we have
adopted the mediation and conflict resolution communication skill in our
practice of communication by discussing and negotiating those issues in
order to found a mutual acceptable resolution (Kammerhoff, J., Lauenstein,
O. and Schütz, A., 2019). We have decided to opt the negotiation with the
organic material supplier so that we can directly get the required organic
material from the first person itself. This way we have solved the conflicts
among the team. As the design approved, company gained profit due to the
quality of product and by that profession behaviour among the team we
build a good professional relationship among our team.
Under the account of research, I have analysed that organic product
have minimum skin issues on applying and it can also improve the skin by
time. It can improvise the sensitive skin as well. So I have discussed this
idea with my manager first so that we can get the idea of fund this product
will demand and how to apply this idea effectively. With the statistic demand
graph of customers we have decided to design an organic beauty product
and that was the reason behind the presentation. To present this idea with

my team members we have chosen the option of presentation so that they
can get the ideology and fundamental behind the design and the team work
can reflect the success of our product.
While making the analysis, the presentation was pretty smooth and
although some team members got agree with me but that was not enough
as per my purpose. After my presentation some members within my team
gave me their feedback on the strategy I was using and those feedbacks
helped me to improve my designing. That was the way my effective
communication as well as the non-verbal communication such as gestures,
body language and alternative communication skills helped me to present
my point of view in a clear frame (Mehrabian, A., 2017). The non-verbal
communication played a huge role in my throughout experience as well as it
indicated that the team members were also getting my point by a nod of
their head. That meaningful interaction in between me and my team work
indicated our engagement towards the specific task.
On concluding the reference, I grew in self-confidence as a result of
this complete experience and personally realized that effective
communication is very important in the manner of communicating within the
professional life.
On following the action plan, next time I will go for the future course of
job towards the new design I will use my this experience as a base and do
the proper research to support my theory. Furthermore, I will seek opinion of
others and stay calm to make consistent body language throughout the
process for the effective communication. This will help me in effectively
communicate with others as well as improve my skills professionally.
CONCLUSION
From the above reflective essay, it is clear that the effective communication
plays an important role in the professional life of a person. On using various
communication skills within effective communication it is possible to
enhance the individual skill and grow professionally in terms of career at the

same time. Moreover, Gibbs model of reflection played a role of reference
among the essay to identify the importance of effective communication
within the behaviour and experience as well.
