INTRODUCTION
Communication can be referred to as the process of exchanging one's thoughts, views and
opinions with another individual or group of individuals within a particular settings. In this
relation, this settings can be either academic or professional (Altheide, 2020). Communication
with reference to the commercial world is essential for the wide array of professionals that work
within the confines of the company, to deliver one's thoughts in front of the business associates
or publicly. The following project consists of 5 tasks, each having a different scenario to be
followed for the task that follows. It contains information about the sustainability initiative of the
organisation. In addition to this, it also includes emails sent to team as well as manager for
specific purposes. Lastly, it constitutes the information upon ways by virtue of which the
respective company can make money while evolving into a more sustainable organisation.
TASK 1
Information about the latest event or initiative of RETAILSY
The present project is based upon RETAILSY which is a retail business operating in the
bounds of garment and accessories sector. One of the latest initiatives that has been undertaken
by RETAILSY is known as “RETAILSY Go Global Initiative”. This initiative undertaken by the
respective company seeks to connect the small artisans from across the globe to be a part of the
concerned retail organisation and showcase their talents by virtue of an event organised by the
entity. This event will be a exhibition that will give platform to a wide array of artisans from
across the globe to showcase their work in front of a large audience. The artisans need to apply
first for being a part of the exhibition. For the application, they need to send their portfolio to the
respective garment retailer. After receiving the portfolio of a large number of small / medium or
large scale artisans, the respective retail company will select the work of 100 artisans and give
them a global platform by showcasing their work in front of the global audience for free. The
main goal is to empower those artisans who have the skills, competences and talent but lack the
platform to give a demonstration of the same in front of the people. By virtue of this initiative,
RETAILSY seeks to become an exemplar organisation for the commercial world. Further, this
initiative will act as employment drive for these artisans as the company will pick Top 25
artisans and make them a part of the global workforce of RETAILSY. By ensuring the provision
of favourable working situations and satisfactory wage rate, the entity will provide livelihood to

them. Thus, the initiative named “RETAILSY Go Global Initiative” being introduced by
RETAILSY will illustrate the approach takes by the organisation to behave in a sustainable
manner. This will help the garment retailer to flourish and prosper in the global market place in
long term.

We all have been recently working on a very important project ‘Eco-friendly Solutions’ with

A board meeting was scheduled on 1st June 2020 at 10.00 a.m. The meeting was attending by
a group subordinates, who has each been working on a different section of the report. The
meeting highlighted the small wins that all of us have achieved as a collaborative unit.
This is an acknowledgement mail for all of those who are a part of the project and has been
working really hard for obtaining the favourable results.
It has come into my notice that some of the members are facing certain issues. The first issue
that has been highlighted is communication. The second issue that has been pointed out is lack

It has often been noted within meetings that members are late to attend the meeting. Also, it is
noted that they are busy texting on their smartphones while important discussions are going in
within the meeting. This is highly unacceptable as it has several negative outcomes upon the
overall group discussion.
First of all, being late creates an atmosphere of indiscipline within the official scenario.
Secondly, being late distracts the minds of the other members
Thirdly, texting in the meeting brings down the morale of other team members
Texting even leads to distraction of the minds of other members off the topic of

Also, non punctuality and texting in meeting creates nuisance which hampers the

nature and environment (Slawinski and Bansal, 2015). The following report is based upon the
sustainability approach adopted by the organisation named CREATIVESY. This company is
dealing in fashion sector and running within this industry for a period of 5 years now. The
management of this organisation has come up with an initiative with the help of which it can
project itself as a sustainable business in front of the market place. The initiative is being
introduced by the organisation with an aim to strengthen its market positioning and augment its
revenues as well as profits in the long run.
Main Body - Ways to make money while being sustainable
Sustainability is important for every company as it acts as the linking pin between the
company and society. In this relation, below mentioned are some of the ways by virtue of which
CREATIVESY can act in a sustainable manner while still making money:-
The company should make use of natural dye and colour. This will help the organisation
in making sure that they promote and facilitate green fashion. This implies that the entity
will be able to effectively able to appeal to the public at large by virtue of its sustainable
initiatives.
Custom and on demand clothing is another way through which CREATIVESY can make
money while simultaneously being sustainable at the forefront of the global market place.
This will help the organisation in saving the cost of developing those products which are
out of date or non trendy.
The company is also suggested to facilitate and foster fair and ethical fashion by avoiding
to manufacture any item that is made from animal skin or by causing harm to any of the
animals. This is the most important move towards becoming a sustainable fashion brand
and setting an example in front of the other companies so that they can also become
sustainable in the long run.
Conclusion
It has been inferred that sustainability is the most important component of an organisation
which assists it in creating an impeccable brand image in the global landscape. In addition to

this, it has been determined that the new initiative of CREATIVESY will help the company in
augmenting its revenues and profits in the long run. It will also lead to development of healthy
relations between the organisation and the people in market.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of above discussion, it can be comprehensively stated that sustainability is
the prime aim and objective of each and every organisation that is operating as a part of the
economy in the present context. It provides assistance to an organisation in ensuring that it earns
high level of revenues and profits for years to come. In addition to this, it has been identified that
every company undertakes sustainability initiatives by virtue of which it is able to ensure that it
operates in the favour of environment as well as society to which it is held to be accountable.
Besides this, it has been analysed that project management is a process which needs to be
undertaken properly so as to make sure that the things are executed in an effective manner.
