This project discuss about importance of communication for project success.
Communication is very important process performed by management. This process deals with
exchange of ideas and opinions (Van Eemeren, and Grootendorst 2016). It is two way and one
way process of communication. It is important to have communication skills to effectively
perform communication process. This has become an important aspect of business. Mangers
assure continuous flow of information. It is important to have good communication skills. It can
also be defined as process of sharing feelings and emotions with each other. There are two
people involve in this process known as sender and receiver. Generally there are two ways
communication formal and informal. This process involve with sending and receiving of
message. Message can be delivered using symbols, body gesture and language. Effective
communication can increase productivity of people working in organisation.

Communication is process of imparting or sharing informations with each other.
Message is communicated to individuals or group of individuals with help of sings or symbols.
Communication play significant role in management of project (Ruesch, and et.al., 2017). To
make project successful ideas and plans should be clearly communicated to employees. Lack of
communication can lead to misinterpretation of information. Project manager assure that there is
continuous flow of information in projects. They adopt different measures to minimise barriers
related to communication. Project managers can adopt different methods of communication like
email, daily quick chats, etc. Most organisation choose formal way communication. They follow
particular hierarchy for communicate informations and ideas. Formal communication help to
keep track of relevant informations.
Communication facilitates delegation of work, managers assign task to team members
and explain them about expected outcome. If ideas are not communicated clear this will result in
failure of project. Mangers must choose best medium of communications. Effective
communication help in saving time and resources of organisation. Project manager continuously
update team members about task which they have assigned. It is very important for project
manager to have good communication skills (PerlmanKaufmanand Speciner, 2016).

informations and ideas are known as sender on other hand receiver is person that receive
message. Communication is two way process that help in creating mutual understanding between
two people. Participants encode and decode informations and ideas. Companies like matrix use
effective methods for communicating informations to stakeholders (Mehrabian, 2017).
Communication is very important for success of project. Managers must hear and
understand problems of employees. This process help stakeholders of company informed and
help in strengthening of relationship between them. If stakeholders are well informed they will
acknowledge issues and problems related to company. Investors will get motivated to invest in
project and they will willingly solve problem and issues. Good communication plan initiate good
project start up. Project managers adopt various strategies and plans to communicate
informations. This is persuasive in nature and required at all level of management.
Communication is backbone of every project. This process is not about giving
instructions it is about listening effectively problems of team members and providing them with
solutions. Information must be communicated in language that can be easily understood. It is
important to convey message in formal gesture with soft and respectful tone. If message is not

2015). Main reason behind failure of project is that managers fail to communicate there vision

delivered to stakeholders to make them understand about status of project. To increase
effectiveness and efficiency in communication proceed mangers must understand need and
requirements of audiences. It is important to attract attention of audiences in presentation.
Mangers must insert catchy slogans and pictures to make presentation look attractive. This help

audience in clear understanding of reports (McNair, 2017). Managers are required to take
feedback from employees to assure that they have understood message. For example matrix
company divide work in teams and effectively communicate ideas and information to team
members. Company adopt various methods of communication to clearly deliver ideas and
informations to employees (Mehrabian, 2017). Development of technology has made
communication process easy and simple. Communication process is required at every stage of
project planning. This has great influence on success of project. There are two methods of
communication active and passive. To make communication process effective mangers should
adopt combination of these two methods. Success of project management is depend upon
communication strategy adopted by manager. Listening is important factor affecting
effectiveness of communication.
This process involve over all understanding of project. Success and failure of project
depends upon communication process. Good communication skills is required by managers and
professionals. Ineffective communication lead to incompetence of project. It refers to transfer of
information between sender and receiver. Successful communication help in accomplishing of
goals. Receiver when receive message should know how to decode and interpret it. Wrong
interpretation of message can lead to confusion. It help in expressing feelings and emotions.
Mangers of matrix have adopted communication techniques to understand employees point of

interact with each other. Communication is required in every business process. To avoid
communication it is very important to adopt effective method of communication. To improve
communication skills mangers must read novels, newspapers, and watch television and show
talk. Mangers are required to invest time with employees. Information can be shared through
various media. Communication is basic function performed by manger. This process is important
for smooth functioning of organisation.
Managers can get work done by employees with effective communication. It is basic tool
used by managers to motivate employees. Lack of communication can give rise to management
problems. Faulty communication of message can be major cause of conflicts between employees
and managers. Communication can help in increasing productivity of employees. To maintain
good human relation managers adopt effective method of communication. For example managers
of matrix are very flexible, they welcome suggestion of employees and encourage there ideas

clearly understood instructions.
There are generally two type of feedback negative and positive. Negative feedback can
bring down morale of employees and bring down there performance where as positive feedback
can motivate employees to perform. There are some barriers of communications, which restrict
managers to perform communication process. Noise play an important role in process of
communication. In presence of noise it difficult to communicate information. This is the most
common issue taking place in communication process. Managers adopt various techniques for
managing barriers. They must communicate information in clear and simple language. To make
project successful it is important to assign right job to employees. Managers can select
appropriate communication method deliver information to employees (Van Eemeren, and
Grootendorst 2016). This process help in maintaining good working environment. effective
communication ensure that information are not lost because of communication barriers.

This project conclude that communication play an important role to make project
successful. This process motivate employees to work together as team. Communication is very
important tool used by management to increase productivity of employees. Two parties sender
and receiver are involved in this process. Mangers adopt various techniques and strategy to
maximise effect of communication. It help in forming of groups. Communication motivate
employees to work together towards accomplishment of common goals. Managers select
appropriate channel of communication. Employees and managers both should have strong
