Introduction
Exchange of data or information between two or more people is known as communication.
The significance of effective communication cannot be overemphasized in the corporate
world. There is no doubt in saying that business managers have to adopt best communication
strategies and styles in order to lead, guide, motivate, and control. Apart from this, in order to
achieve the assertive and effective means of communication so that employees can share their
knowledge, formulate it and implement it in its immediate business strategies (Adler,
Rodman, & Du Pré, 2016).
Scope of the problem
In regards to our organisation, I have seen that the organisational objectives are suffered
because of barriers in communication. The barriers have become hindrance to the goals,
which the manager anticipates from the whole team, but employees have communication
barriers. These barriers occur due to increasing diversification among the employees, which
affects their oral as well as written medium. The problem statement is “communication
barriers have become hindrance to organisational success.”
Purpose of problem
The main purpose of identifying the problem is to answer the research questions identified in
the scope and examine some proper ways of how communication can be made effective
(Gallois, & Giles, 2015). The questions are-
Do communication barriers actually affect the productivity?
Does good communication helps the employees to stay motivated.

What are the common tools of effective communication that are employed by the employers
to help employees
As per the research conducted, barriers to the communication should be given importance.
While communicating the organisational goals, the manager should encounter various
problems in the communication. Owing to various technological barriers and errors, few can
result into poor communication style. Therefore, to improve the communication style, poor
listening skills, lack of clarity to the information, presenting concise and well-articulated
expressions are some of the identified barriers that occur because of poor communication
style (Habermas, 2015).
Literature Review
In the critical sense, communication is a process of creating a shared sense of meaning
involved in the problem. The aim of communication is to address the shortcomings
successfully. Communication helps in building relationships, collecting information,
dissemination information, and finally planning for the crisis and shortcomings that hampers
the organisational success (Barnlund, 2017).
Research Methodology
The research employed in finding the solution to the identified communication barriers have
been evaluated on the basis of both quantitative and qualitative method. The qualitative
research method is employed to get in-depth analysis to the research problem by using
various research articles, published books, and journals. In this situation, the research
anticipates to examine the impact of communication on employee’s satisfaction (Barnlund,
2017). Different literacy articles have been found to understand the relationship between two
important variables. At the same time, quantitative method is equally important as it helps to
