RESEARCH
Communications is an essential part of managing organizational work and help to
develop and execute the plan to meet the goals and objectives. One tech organization is
lacking to maintain two-way communications with the employees which are affecting their
2

workflow and operational quality. Therefore, some changes in the communication strategy of
the company are to be made. There are different types of communication strategies are used
for managing communication at the workplace such as events, conferences and meetings as
well as the newsletters. To establish a good communication strategy, it is essential to set the
goals and objectives (Folger, Poole, & Stutman, 2017). For One Tech organization, the short
and long term objectives from communication strategy involve the increase media
prominence, damage control, branding and improvement in the interaction level of the staff.
To improve communication at One Tech organization, the management could conduct
meetings. This will help to engage all type of staff members in communication and planning
of the actions related to managing the internal and external operations of the company. For
example, in meetings, everyone will have the opportunity to present their idea and share the
experience related to the issues that could influence the work. The meetings will also help to
improve the interaction among staff members and helps to improve the understanding of gaps
and issues that affecting the communication among the staff (Anderson et al., 2015).
Moreover, communication through email could also a better option for One Tech
management to maintain two-way communications within the organization. Communication
through email is fast and reliable for all members as the manager could track the progress and
keep the record of data shared with everyone (Karanges et al., 2015). For example, the email
communication is beneficial for both internal and external stakeholders of the company to
provide information related to products and services as well as changes in the plan for sales
and marketing. The communication through email is cost and time effective for the
organization and allows the One Tech management to reach the large numbers of employees
at a time. In addition to this, to develop a closer relationship with the recipients and create a
win-win situation, email communication is beneficial. Apart from that, email communication
is action-oriented and transactional by nature as the company could direct the traffic to the
website. The major benefits of using email communication strategy at the workplace involve
monitoring and measuring the response of the staff members (Bradley, & Campbell, 2016).
This kind of approach will help One Tech to encourage communication at workplace and
engage team members in planning and execution of operations more professional manner and
achieve the organizational goals.

There are different types of communication strategies briefly explained for managing
the communication at One Tech organization. The major communication strategy that would
be beneficial for maintaining business communication according to the desired state of the
organization would be the email. According to the analysis of communication planning and
strategic management, the email communication is allowing organizations or management to
share the data within different time zones without any barrier for the time limits (Dhuppar,
2015). The categorization feature that offered by the email communication software is also
helpful to set the priority for the information and get the response from the recipients.
Moreover, the use of email communication strategy also supports the scheduling of data and
sending and receiving the information customized manner. However, the One Tech
organization is looking to target the employees of the company by implementing this
communication strategy but it is essential to provide training for using appropriate language
and professional standards for developing the emails. The consideration of these elements
will be useful for improving the efficiency level and productivity of One Tech organization.
For example, the use of email will help to encourage real-time data transferring and offer the
tailor messages for an individual that is more easy to understand (Brink, & Costigan, 2015).
In the current scenario, email communication is used by everyone through
smartphones and laptop which give any time access to information and support in decision
making. However, sometimes lack connectivity and slow speed of network data affect the
communication but very rarely this situation occurred. The modern business communication
is majorly based on an email which is cost and time effective (Coombs, 2015). Therefore, the
use of email communication strategy will be beneficial for One Tech organization to improve
sharing of data and information. According to survey finding, the use of email
communication will also help to encourage the two communications and support in the
culture of the organization to maintain the written communication. Apart from that, the use
of email communication strategy will also minimize the level of miscommunication as
everything will be recorded and shared with the manager and department heads. This kind of
approach will improve satisfaction and transparency level in communicating the data and
