The process of helping is the fundamental technique in which the different professionals
reach out when they are in need and this will help them in providing huge support along with the
structure which is essential and necessary in nature for influencing the potential which is
required to develop along with grow in positive manner.
The respective three phases are required to be analyzed in an effective manner wherein
the three major components of the process of helping is inclusive of cash review, documentation,
report writing along with the different participation of the clients (Banks, Burch & Woodside,
2016).
Stages of Helping Process
The different kinds of stages of the helping process are inclusive of the following:
Assessment is the first stage in which this can be seen that through the help of the phase
of assessment, the different kinds of helpers begins in analyzing the client along with the overall
situation. The phase of assessment of the process of helping is the different kinds of first
thoughts along with the different kinds of interactions with the clients. This is one of the most
effective kinds of phase in the process of helping as this helps in setting up the different other

Implementation along with attainment of the goals is the other aspect in which this can
be seen that this stage is essential for prioritizing the goals into different kinds of tasks along
with the sub-goals as well. Furthermore, in this respective stage, the proper selection along with
implementation of the interventions is essential through proper planning of the implementation
of the tasks in an appropriate aspect and manner.
Furthermore, in this implementation stage, this enhances the overall self-efficacy along
with maintaining the focus with the different sessions is essential in nature which will be helpful

the same, this helps in resolving the different kinds of barriers which helps in enhancing the
awareness by employing the additive empathy and this will help in resolving the resistance of the

Termination along with evaluation is the other aspect in which this will assist in
evaluation of the readiness for the termination. Furthermore, in this respective stage, this will
help in mutually planning for the termination and this will become most active and positive kind
of termination of the relationship in a positive manner. In this stage, the results will be evaluated
through planning of the different kinds of strategies which will assist in maintaining the overall

Integration of Communication Skills in Stages of Helping Process
The proper integration of the different communication skills is essential in nature in the
different stages of the helping process. In the assessment process, the basic communication skills
is essential which is required to be adopted wherein there will be inclusion of open-ended and
close-ended questions along with usage of both formal and informal methods of appraisal. The
main aspect of the assessment is to help the clients in managing the different doubts of the clients
effectively.
Secondly, in the next stage of goal setting and orientation, the proper techniques of
confrontation, visualization and imagery are required to be taken into consideration which will
be beneficial for the overall success of the firm and the candidates which will be useful for the

which will help the clients in focusing mainly on the feelings and this will be beneficial for the

Thirdly, cognitive kind of intervention and communication is essential in nature which
will assist the different clients in changing their system of belief and this will be beneficial for
analyzing their issues in an appropriate aspect. The flexibility is essential in the helping process

Identification of Barriers to Communication that Impact Process of Engagement
There are various kinds of barriers in the process of the communication which can create
a huge impact on the engagement process. The different kinds of communication barriers are
described as follows:
Firstly, there is lack of proper alignment, insights along with the focus on the top in
different kinds of organizations. In different kinds of companies, this can be noticed that the
higher officials in the organizations do not consider the feedback and other surveys of the
employees who are working in the organization. The first challenge is related to mindset along
with setting of the priority and this will be difficult for the process of engagement in the
organization (Shapiro & Carlson, 2017).
Secondly, the saturation of the different communication channels is the other issue which
can be seen in the process of engagement as improving the same, there will be requirement of
huge level of employee engagement and communication which is not present in many
organizations in the economy. In order to try to receive the attention of the different employees,
this will be difficult in nature in managing the overall efficiency and the communication plays a
major role in reducing such risks effectively as well (Cormier & Hackney, 2015).
Thirdly, engagement of the leadership behaviors do not come naturally wherein this can
be seen that inspirational kind of communication along with the greater level of transparency are
simplest along with immediate improvements a leader make towards greater engagement of

ineffective and this will be disadvantageous for the organizations.
Lastly, the bringing the rest of the company along is the challenging situation in which
this can be noticed that there are various organizations in which this can be seen that the
leadership is not effective in nature and this can be issue for the organization as the leaders do
not take into the consideration the different kinds of approaches of the employees in the
organization and this affects the overall productivity of the firm in a negative manner.
Addressing of Potential Barriers or Issues
These are the different kinds of potential barriers or issues which are required to be
analyzed in an effective manner. In order to address the different kinds of issues, this will be
beneficial for the success of the organization and the employees along with the clients of the
organization as well. The communication process is required to be strong in nature which will be
beneficial for the organization for gaining competitive advantage (Brandon, 2016).
The engagement of the different employees in the workplace is essential in nature which
will be helpful in managing the different kinds of conflicts and this will be assisting in managing
the situation in a positive manner as well. Proper clarity of the thoughts of the different
employees is essential in nature which will be providing a proper understanding of the different
needs of the employees in the organization and this will be helpful in clearing the objectives
