place or group to other. Communication is the process in which information is
exchanged among the individual by a common system of signs, symbol or behaviour.
There are four types of communication that are Verbal, Non-verbal, written and visual.
The above study includes the demonstration of effective communication skills,
which are applicable to the academic and professional context. The report ends with the
individual performance, experience and behaviour in education using the Driscoll's
reflective model.
MAIN BODY
The Driscoll Model of Reflection states and mainly focuses on three stem
questions that are “What?”, “So what?” and “Now what?”. Thus research is to be
conducted by matching these questions with an experimental cycle of learning and
trigger is added to these questions which is helpful in promoting experience of learning
and reflected on what it is learned from that(Giles, 2016).
Part A
Verbal skills states to the level in which an individual can formulate sentences,
words, adjectives, written texts verbs, along with the level by which the individual can
grasp meanings, producing antonyms and synonyms, by knowing use and meaning of
words. This skill is not interdependent to individual's grammatical knowledge or
education level, but they are reflection of the individual verbal fluency and deep
comprehension in the different languages, up-to the level that the other person could
understand it(Allen, ed., 2017).Practical use of the verbal skill is very effective for the
learning and getting knowledge through the teachers. It is helpful in getting the deep
knowledge about the task or topic with descriptive examples so that this helpful in the
complete understanding of the particular. It is majorly used and effective skills in the
education so that it can be understood to the children. This is more understood by the
individual as compare to the written skills. This skill has an effective impression on the
individual. In teaching, it is the major skill which is promptly used by the teacher to teach

interpersonal communication for group work it is very necessary for the individuals to
verbally interact with their group member so that the task can be completed properly.
Feedback form lectures is majorly understood by the student with the help of verbal
skills, and they could easily address that. For presentation, it is necessary to understand
the subject and its content properly and this can be easily done by verbal
communication skills. The supervisor advises the other regarding the appropriate action
which is to be taken for the course of action.
Many more things are learnt as the effective verbal communication is useful in
various fields and thus which is helpful in the proper understanding of the task and topic
which can be furthered successfully completed. It can be improved by more
concentration on the major things and evaluating more solution which are helpful in
commanding and monitoring it effectively(Yildiz, 2017).
Listening skills is ability for accurately interpreting and receiving messages in
communication process.
Practical use of listening skill are increasing the vocabulary and better
understanding to the particular topic or subject. For the education it can be majorly it is
evaluative listening so that it can be completely understood. The teacher should use the
critical listening skill for the better understanding to the thing which is said by the
student. In interpersonal communication within the group then there is critical listening is
to be used for communication among the group member. For the feedback from lectures
is appreciative listening can be used by the students to meet the needs and goals. The
teachers ask students in the lecture to prepare the topic the student will appreciative
listening that what is to be done and what is the passing criteria.
Things which have learned from the listening skills is that it is serviceable in
different fields so the one can actively listen the things which is told by the other person
and further implement the thing in correct manner. It can be improved by the better,
active and accurate listening to the listener and then further better understanding to the
things which are being told.Non-verbal skills refers to the facial expression, gestures,

Part B
In my first presentation is used non-verbal skills which is done by representing
the self thought to other without using any language in the form of facial communication,
voice tone, eye contact or gesture etc., In the education it is not useful as everything
must be properly understood in detail for further study. Further it is very difficult to let
student to understand the particular subject of topic with the help of non-verbal skills.
During the interpersonal communication among the group things can also not been
understood by the group members. Feedback in the lecture and presentation can also
not been easily understood by the individual properly. In group interview, eye contact is
to be shifted to different speaker.
The things which I have learnt is that it is very difficult to have a proper
understanding to the particular topic or subject with the non-verbal skills only some
emotions and sentiments can be expressed by these. It can be improved b giving an
appropriate action to the things which can be addressed(Akiyoshi, NEC Corp, 2016).
So the verbal skills will be useful for me in effectively communicating my
presentation in front of the student as I firstly used the non-verbal skills for the
presentation but it is not understood by the students further I used the verbal skills and
the presentation is actively listened and understood by the students and I had gained a
higher percentage for the presentation.
Writing skills states that the writer is capable to write the thoughts, facts,
opinions, stories etc.,
Practical use of writing skill is very powerful and important tool which can be used
in daily life. It is helpful in the storing information, maintaining permanent record etc., For
teaching and teacher it is the best thing for depicting each and every information in
detail which can't be verbally transferred to their students. For interpersonal group work
the things can be depicted in written so that the task can be appropriately divided into
the group member and can have a better understanding for that. The feedback for
lectures and presentation can be written and then further carefully addressed the needs
and goals accurately(Crane and Livesey, 2017).
The things which are learned from the above are that the written communication
skills are useful in the complete and accurate data by recording and storing the

information in written. It can be improved by checking and improving the work which to
be read out.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that the effective communication skills are
majorly important for the individual to communicate heir message to other. The
communication skills are helpful in the better understanding of the articular task or
subject and thus things can be accurately addressed and implemented further.
