INTRODUCTION
It is very important for an individual to develop various skills in order to be effective
within the academic studies. The skills which are required in higher educations is important
because the individual need to develop their career for future. It is very essential or an individual
to learn the basic skills which will help in developing their personal growth and also they will be
able to get good academics marks in order to gain competitive advantage. The higher education
focusses on the development of an individual in order to gain the competitive advantage with the
peers and outside world. The communication skills is very important for an individual that need
to be developed at the time of higher studies. This report will include various topic such as
various communication skills which helps an individual to develop themselves in an effective
way,. The strength and weakness of the skills discussed.

Discuss various communication factors for an individual in higher education
There are various factors through which an individual is able to learn communication
whether in the oral or written form. The various factors or the methods through which
communication becomes easy to understand in the academic learning are discussed below:
 Report writing- This is the type of practice which is conducted in the higher education
and helps an individual in learning the various aspect of communication. Report writing
includes the proper search and er writing the content in a form which evaluates the
different form of communication. As communication is the most important key of
success for an individual. As in the higher education there are various assignment and
projects which help in the written form of communication. I was able to develop this skill
by performing the task in an effective. This is the skill which is required for the personal
development and increase the efficiency. The report writing is the form where I was able
to learn the different aspect of communication and a way of expressing the feelings and
the content on a paper in order to make understand what is been explained by the person.
The report writing has helped me a lot in developing my writing skills and doing
assignments in an effective manner. As this is beneficial in further professional life.

There are different ways of report writing which need to be learn in order to score good
academics score and be effective learner.
 Para Phrasing- This is the skill which is important for an individual need to develop at
the time of the higher education. The institutes and the universities tries to develop the
various skill in an individual which motivates them to become an effective and efficient
learner. The para phrasing is the technique in which an individual focus on the content to
be written in own words. This is type of communication where an individual is able to
learn how to write content in own language. This helps in identifying the ability of an
individual where they are able to express their words of the others in their own way in an
effective manner. This was the technique which I was able to learn during my academic
learning. As there were various assignments and projects which ned ot be completed and
the content which is been researched by me through internet sources needed to be
rephrased in own language. This helped me in improving my communication skill.
 Email writing- This is the type of communication which is been important for the
brunets in order to know what is the right way to talk professional in a ethical manner.
The email writing is been taught in higher studies which has various aspect in order to
know the correct manner in which email has to be written. This includes various form of
writing which is part of communication. This was the skill which I learnt in my
academics and was able to develop in an effective way. Email writing helped me a lot in
conveying the right message to the other person. It is the most important part of
communication for the bother personal and professional life for an individual.
 Language skills- This is the another most important skill which is required in higher
education by an individual. The institution focus on developing these skills but it is very
important hat an individual should be aware of the basic language skill which is required
in the academic as this will help an individual to develop themselves in an effective and
efficient manner. The language skill include the way in which the communication takes
place. This include the tone of the communicator whether its is oral or written form. It is
very important to develop the language skills which will help in the future growth and
success and also this will assist in developing the academics score. It is very important to
have a knowledge of the communication and this plays a major role in deve4loping the
content verbally or non verbally in an effective and efficient way.

Discuss the strength and weakness in reflection way
From the above discussed various skills I was able to identify that there were skills which
I was able to develop and have a strong understanding and there were some which I need to
improve in the academics learning process. Here is the discussion on my strength and
weaknesses:
Strength
 I was good at the para phrasing skill which is required in the higher education. This was
my strength where I was able to perform my task in an effective and efficient way. Also I
was able to develop this skill within the short span of time. This was my strength where I
was ale to create the content in my own words and was able to develop themselves. This
was skill which gave me good academic scores and the form of communication in my
projects and assignments. Ian good at para phrasing which means I can write the content
in such a manner that its is understandable and without plagiarism. It is very important
for me to take this skill at the top priority because this involves a lot of research and
communication can take place effectively. I am good at report writing which is the biggest strength for me. I am able to write the
report in a manner which includes the aspect and in a correct way. The report writing has
a format which need to be followed and I am good at expressing the content in my own
words which can effective an efficient manner. This skill has helped me a lot in
developing mu own content. This was skill which I use to showcase in my assignments
and projects and I was able to differentiate the quality of content with my peers. This
communication elements assist me in developing my own content in such a way that I
was able to achieve higher scores in my academics.
Weaknesses
 I need to develop the email writing skills which is important for the communication
practice within the higher education. The email writing includes the proper language and
the tone which need to be sued in the mail writing.. This is my weakness where I was not
able to communicate properly with email. There were a lot of spelling mistakes and the
content which has to be written was not good enough. This is the skills which I need to

develop in my higher education because nit is very important for the both personal and
professional life.
 The language skill is another weakness which I need to develop. It is very important for
me to have a knowledge of the tone and the language which is to be used at the time of
communication with peers, friends, professor or in formal or informal way of
communication. The language is the main elements of communication process which is
been taught in the studies. I am weak at understanding the language of the other person in
order to reply them with the same language.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that there are various skills which are required in
the higher education. It is very important for an individual to develop the communication skills
which can help in both personal and professional life. There are various factors of
communication such as report writing, language, email writing, para phrasing. These are very
import5ant part of communication which is essential for an individual to develop. This helps in
being successful and communication in an effective and efficient way.
