The major challenge that Brexit has presented at the workplace
is that it has scattered the employees flinging them to different
locations which has led to inconsistency in the communication
channels where employees do not understand what their leaders
are trying to convey
Another barrier not paying attention to what the other employee
is saying. This occurs when employees do not respect each
other and they do not heed to what their colleague has to say
and often cultural differences tend to formulate such attitude of
people because they believe that their culture is superior or
more sophisticated than that of their colleagues.
After Brexit, it is humane of employees to have their own fears
and questions regarding their job security, safety etc. When
these queries are not addresses properly, the uncertainty persists
which might lead to employees not wanting to understand and
accept changes.
Strategies for overcoming communication barriers
It is crucial for the manager of Mr.Fishy to unite the disoriented and confused
employees together so that these gaps can be bridged together and the ultimate
aim of maintaining the quality of service provided to the customers visiting can
be achieved.
Conducting proper training sessions under which the manger makes his
employees realise that their ultimate aim is to serve the organization and
operate beyond the personal differences.
Another strategy is to develop a work culture where informal
communications and tie-ups between employees are encouraged. They
can connect on different social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter,
Snapchat etc. this provides a peek in the personal life of employees and
by acknowledging the varied tastes, employees can operate in a better

Since at Mr Fishy, the employed personnel belong to different
backgrounds and cultural societies, it is necessary for them to
understand differences in personalities of the employees and
respect them so that they can work in a productive manner.
