Introduction
Business communication plays an important role in managing and
controlling the business operation. As it means the proper flow of useful and
important message and ideas from one source to another. Sports love is an
independent London sports club that provide different sports facilities and
services.

Common barriers and challenges to
communication
In today's world without effective and appropriate communication company
are not able to operate their operation and may lead to reduction in
performance and profitably. So every employee must have this valuable skill
that support them to contribute better in business activities. There are number
of barriers that led to mis communication that result into conflicts, fights etc.
some of these are discussed below:

• Physical Barriers: This is because company wants to expand its business in different part of nation
so they open branches at different location that lead to physical barriers to effective communication.
• Perceptual Barriers: This could be one of the major reason that may lead to mis communication as
the deliver must understand the mind set of receiver.
• Emotional Barriers: This kind of barriers may influence the communication as sometime the
emotion of and individual staff member take over while communicating with other team member or
customer visiting in company.

Some strategies to overcome barriers to
communication
In present era, every company wants to grow by making their employee
motivated so that they work according to the ideas and plans in order to attain
the predefined goals. Barriers of communication is need to be resolved as
soon as possible because it may lead to reduction in customer base and profit
of company. Some basic ways to reduce the communication obstruction:

• Must have clarity in thoughts: The ideas that need to be delivered by the
sender must be clear and must tell about the actual objective and purpose of
message.
• Take care of language, tone and ways of speaking: Manager of Sports love
make sure that formulated message must be framed in a very effective simple,
short and polite tone to the listener.

Some insights into the ways in which culture
influences communication.
In general, culture is defined as the set of shared values and behaviour that an
individual and a group of people holds. So in respect to communication it is
described as a dynamic process that help to exchange ideas and information
from one individual. It is observed that culture of different people from several
regions may influence the communication in company. Thus culture and
communication reciprocally have a vast influence on each other.

and receiver directly comes in contact with each other and interact in
effective manner.
• Informal communication: These type of communication means
communicator do not comes in direct contact to the receiver

Conclusion
From the above Power point presentation, it has been concluded that effective communication is the main
important part for growth and development. There is a proper need to overcome the barriers of
communication that may reduce the profitability and productivity of company. Culture also influence the
communication that needs to be overcome as early as possible so that employee are motivated in order to
attain the goals.
