Online education facilitates the students in perusing their education beyond geographical
boundations. It helps the students in managing their with studies along with their part time jobs.
Now the COVID period over and universities restart the offline classes which is resisted by the
students and they wants to continue their study online. In this context university identifies certain
barriers which prevent students to return to the campus which are as follows:
Physical barriers: It consider as one of the major reason due to which student are
preventing to return the campus because many of student are living far away from the
university which consume their lot of time. By which they don't get time to do extra
activities. As online mode open the gate of several opportunities for those students who
are unable to get admission in the universities because of long distance.
Financial barriers: it is the main barriers student prefer to online instead of off line
education due to financial barrier also because to live and study in cities of UK is quit
expensive. They spend lot of amount on food and travelling which is expensive in UK
due to which students are worried about their financial commitments. As child care is
costly in UK so, parents are also not favour in offline mode education (Pettinger, 2020).

time jobs. And some students have anxiety regarding their higher education due to which

cell phones, general chattering, late arrival of students etc. which affect the decorum of
the class and creates problem to other students in listening the lecture due to which the
lecture which professors wants to deliver to their students are not take place in effective
manner. While in online mode students can ignore such things by pressing mute button
on zoom (Segumpan, et.al 2022).
Lack of common experience: this is also a major reason of students to prevent returning
to campus because in real classroom they will interact with so many students which
belongs to different culture and ages which make them nervous. And it cause barrier in
understanding the information which sender sends to the receiver and it hindered the
effectiveness of the communication.

sensitizing the campus regularly. As one of the fear which student have in their mind is
regarding the spreading of the disease by coming into the contact with others students.

distance should be maintained from one student to another student through which there is
less chance of spreading of the disease.
