Effective communication system stand out to be an integral part of the business
organization like airline, bank, insurance company, Travel agency, department store, and lastly,
grocery store. Breakdown of communication system like telephone, fax, radio, television, and
computer system can have huge impact on various organization (Zhong & Hui, 2016). The point
should be noted that Top-down, bottom, and horizontal communication flow are very much
important for each and every level of this organization. Communication system stand out to be
very much important for proper functioning with constant objectives, focus, and strategies. One
of the biggest drawbacks of barriers to communication in business is that it fails the employee to
deliver the requested directives (Yu, Xu & Schober, 2019). In some cases, sender has completely
failed to highlight the requested in such a way that motivates the receiver to take prompt action.

Turning of every communication in the firm which result in
Misinterpretation: Misinterpretation of messages tend have a communication barrier in
the organization. It can start from poor communication effort by sending message. There are
certain barriers which can lead to misinterpretation (Cui, Zhang & Zhang, 2019). Both language
and difference in communication in organization can become much more adverse. Noise and
distracting environment can result in confusion during reception and message interruption.
Bad Work relationship: Barriers in communication can easily lead to disengagement and
conflict relationship among most colleagues, supervisor, and subordinates (Wang et al., 2017).

organization can easily result in environment where employees lack knowledge with the
organization that is product and job. It will ultimately result in poor production, creativity at the
time of interaction with client and customer (Yu, Xu & Schober, 2019). It is responsibility of top
management to take up the responsibilities of making each employee regarding the knowledge of
his job.
Expectation of Customer
Yes the customer expects 100 percent uptime. Good uptime is very much close to around
100%. Any value less than this makes it difficult for organization more specifically, customer-
based organization (Cui, Zhang & Zhang, 2019). It ultimately creates issues on 24/7/365 self-
service support the growing demand of customers.
In the year 2012, Sabre travel Network has joined in rank of travel technology providers
for its system outage. The reservation system this organization collapsed for hours (Wang et al.,
2017). All the customers of Sabre encountered issues in accessing Sabre for short period of time.
After the down of reservation system, passenger were facing issues in booking tickets on their
reservation system.
Time to Resume Back
After the breakdown of the communication system, its restoration is very much difficult
and taking. The restoration time in airline, bank, insurance organization, travel agency,
department store, and grocery store is not same. It tends to vary in all the organization. Outage of
the Sabre reservation system took around 6 hours for its restoration (Yu, Xu & Schober, 2019).
The system was down in the busy morning and was fixed completely during the mid-day.
