1.1
There are a variety of people and communication with them regularly lies in the role of
Registered Manager. Communication can be done by listening, writing, or verbally and various
skills can also be utilized to deal with them so that the employees feel important and valued. I
communicated with all regularly and also discussed various issues to know their opinion. Within
the job role of the registered manager communication skills are the most important for bringing
harmony to the workplace and getting things done in a systematic manner (Holmes, A.F., Zhang,
S. and Harris, B., 2019). Along with it, compassion and patience are also required to deal with
patients with the purpose of understanding their needs and perspectives.
1.2
In the job role of Registered Manager, I was considered an important part of the homecare
company. I was responsible for managing the human resources, finance, health duties, and many
others. In addition to this, I made use of interpersonal skills to communicate with all which led to
building good relations in the workplace (Konar, N., 2021). Along with it, I also used non-verbal
communication which is a text message and I read the body language which helped me a lot to
understand their emotions and feelings.
1.3
There are various issues and challenges in the job role when it comes to communicating with the
employees and anything that comes between communication, employees will be a barrier. I made
sure that I did not use inappropriate language and jargon. Also, people come from various
backgrounds and cultures which is why it was essential to take care of their feelings (Perry, L.
and Miller, T., 2018). In my own employment function, it is crucial to take care of patients by
giving them more chances to talk and keep the relationship interactive.
2.1
The effectiveness of the communication system and practice can be monitored by reviewing their
responses and collecting feedback from the employees. As the company makes use of various
tools for internal communication and it is essential to monitor each tool to measure its
effectiveness of each tool. Also, instead of traditional methods, new methods were used for
bringing high engagement. In the job role of Registered Manager, it is required to be clear in

both speaking and writing to make the communication system best. Along with it, I had to keep
in my mind the target audience to bring a clear path of ideas with the most valuable skills.
2.2
In my team, communication was done via e-mail as it is one of the effective ways because in this
people receive and reply easily. Along with it, one-to-one communication was also a very
effective way of communication (Tang, K.N., 2019). In this job role, I get chances to interact
with so many people all day so a proper set of skills are required in order to build an image of
trust with the clients.
3.2
When it comes to communication, the best method will be suitable for conveying important
communication. Such as phones and email through which this complex information is conveyed.
These are effective and one of the best ways to communicate in the workplace. Through proper
communication, I was able to deliver a better understanding of information to our customers.
4.1
The term confidentiality is explained as a set of rules that restricts access to the type of
information. Working as Registered Manager, I know that confidentiality is essential because it’s
vital to build a level of trust. The Data Protection Act 1998, provided the ways which can be
used to handle the data. I made sure to keep the data safe and consider the factors which are right
or wrong for the customer.
4.2
It is important to analyze the information which is required to be shared between the other
organizations and the management. Also, the people are updated and need to know about their
information is secured safely. All the information was shared on a need-to-know basis and the
management is responsible for taking final decisions.
