share their ideas and thought freely without making any hesitation. As per the situation we have
to change the medium of communication by verbal to any mode of communication channel. In
the situation of learning activity, I am working with my selected group so that children are
focused and perform their work without any distractions. In this case, the way of talking with the
children is formal and I provide a positive support to them while working in a class or
educational environment.
Making communication with children and young-people, we also face interaction
difficulties. Child feeling nervous if he face speaking difficulty. In order to this, we try not to
speak from them that what they want to convey. We give support and encourage them so that he
can enable to express the thoughts effectively. In my practice we uses the picture exchange
communication system, in which pictures are to be taken instead of words. It help to improve the
speaking skills of children and also develop positive behaviour in them (Fullan, 2014).
While adapting the communication with children and young people, it is important to consider
the communication differences arising due to varying levels of cognitive abilities, emotional
states and cultural differences. As the cognitive ability of children and young people is different
from those of adults, communication needs to be adapted accordingly. Furthermore, some
communication gestures which may be appreciable in one culture are considered to be highly
offensive in other cultures. Therefore, the same also needs to be considered while adapting
communication with children and young people.
During the communication there are different types of factors which affect the communication
such as state of mind, thinking, understanding etc. To balanced the factors they need to
concentrate on the skills and develop their knowledge according to them. Communication is
depended on the present state of mind of person.

When making communication with the children the language should be taken as per their
age and mind so that they can easily understand the thoughts. Discussion with children is simple
as comparison to the young people because it will need more focus and attention with the
youngster. It is essential that children never be interrupted and dismissed while they are saying
something because this will show the lower level of their self-conscious. During their speaking,
person should not make laugh. In this situation, people should listen them actively and take
