MAIN BODY
Research on communication methods of teaching
Communication can be defined as the process of exchanging the information. It forms the
most important part in teaching. Mostly teachers make use of the communication in order to
impart knowledge to their students. There are various types of communication methods which
can be used by teachers to share information with the students. It includes two-way
communication, non-verbal, person to person and written communication. It has been analysed
that teachers can make use of nonverbal interaction so that they can have an idea about whether
the students are being able to get their knowledge or not (Mercer-Mapstone and Kuchel, 2017).
Teachers are also being engaged in taking feedback from students with the help of two-way
communication. They are being involved in making use of handouts so that students are able to
do the self-study. Teachers also communicate their lessons with the help of school media. They
upload their sessions in library which can be used by students in order to create better learning
experience (Debbagh and Jones, 2018). It has been analysed that video projects can help students
in enhancing their grades and it can also support them in achieving their career objectives.
Teachers can also be engaged in making use of initial assessment, this will help them in
analysing the learner’s individual capacity. They can also make use of diagnostic assessment as
it will help them in evaluating the strength of learner and will also help them in identifying their
weakness.
