2.1 Johari Window Model (1955)
The Johari Window Model targets to
increase self-awareness and personal
progress by documenting the different

2.3 Laswell Model (1948 )
The Lasswell communication model, named after American political scientist and
communication theorist Harold Dwight Lasswell, is a linear framework for explaining
the communication process through segmentation. Lasswell was mainly concerned
with “Mass Communication” (media) and “Propaganda” (studylib.com, 2015)
In fact, the Lasswell's Formula consists of five major components as illustrated in the

Visual communication uses aids such

4. Schramm’s Model
Schramms model of communication was proposed in
1954 and has origin in the Shannon and weaver model.
We propose that communication is not a linear but a
circular model and it suggests the communication is a
two wave bath with the message continually passing
between sender and receiver. The main basis of model
is that message should be understood between sender
and receiver it states that communication is a two way
highway.

Introduce Communication Theorists
- Communication is act of giving receiving and sharing of information.
It is in the process of interaction by using various means that helps in
the process of developing communication abilities.
- Different communication models are very important to understand
the conceptual means and the way it helps in the process of
enhancing the effectiveness in the overall interactions.

1. Albert Mehrabian Theory
Albert mehrabian was born in the year 1939 in a
Armenian family living in Iran. Is a professor of
psychology at the University of California and
originally trained as a engineer best known for his
publications in verbal and nonverbal messages. His
communication model states that it only 7% of
feelings and attitude takes place through words we
use in spoken communication.

2. Eric Bernes Theory Theory
Eric bernesis a Canadian based theorist who has
created a theory of transactional analysis to explain
the human behaviour. His theory is based on
transactional analysis. As per the story the person in
a conversation may be starting the communication I
have to give transaction stimulus and the person
receiving the stimulus will give the transaction
response.

Shanon is a mathematician who has worked words
using probability theories to develop mathematical
theory of communication. He has developed a
mathematical theory of communication that identifies
that human communication has to be broken into 60
concept that includes sender, encoder, channel
noise, decorder and receiver

It can be said from the above made analysis that communication
models are very important in the process of having effective
communication. Apart from this there are different associated theories
which helps in the process of dealing with over issues and barrier
related to communication.
