INTRODUCTION
Communication is the process of transforming information from one to another.
Information can be exchange through written, speaking or in different ways. It is the process of
using sound, sign or behaviour to share the thoughts and ideas to anyone. It is an important
aspect of the business. Through effective communication a business can run in efficient manner
and it helps to increase in productivity as well as profitability(Jowers and et.al., 2016).
Shannon and Weaver communication model
Sender- It is the person who send the message to other person. Sender is the person who makes
the message and chose the channel to send the message.
Encoder- Encoder is the machine, which converts message into signals or binary data.
Channel- It is the medium which through the sender send his message to the receiver(Yap,
Abdul-Rahman and Chen, 2017).
Decoder- It is defines as a machine which convert the signals and binary data into message

Methods of communication
Verbal communication- If refers to use of words while sending the message to someone. It can
be one to one or in group communication. It is the method of communication which is used by
everyone(Schultz and Götz, 2016).
Written communication- It can not be avoided at workplace because most of the important
message comes in the written form in the organisation. It is present everywhere and consists of
traditional paper, pen document, text chats, emails, report etc. That all might be covered in
written document. Some written method of communication such as social media, email etc.
Gibbs reflective cycle model
Description- It is the first stage of reflective cycle method. It consists with overall
description of the situation. It considers the place of work, where the experience is taken by an
individual. This step is the overall evaluation of the experience.
Feelings- It is all about feeling that what an individual felt at the workplace. The feeling
of that person at the workplace. It considers the timing of before joining the workplace, during
the work and after the work. Feeling of the person in all these situations.
