Family day care Australia is a child care association which is a not-for-profit organisation aiming
to provide a safe and secure environment for children. The organisational structure of the
association is related to the framework and patterns which defines day to day working of the
organisation. The organisation is mainly established to cater the requirements of community of
parents and children. The structure of the association is based on compliance with child care
regulations. It is public company which was incorporated in 1988 which ensures its fulfilment of
documentation and other legal formalities. The staffing of the day care is supported with the help
of 11-50 employees working for the betterment and welfare of the society. The philosophy of the
organisation is to promote development and enhance the skills of children through teaching them
at an early age. The family day care provides the most natural learning environment where they
aims to nurture children through engaging them in activities which improve their abilities. The
organisational philosophy is to enhance values and morals of children through building a
positive atmosphere around them. The staffing members of the organisation promote quality of
life for children and contributes in overall welfare of the society. It works on the philosophy that
children are future of the economy and their skills and values should be developed from the
initial phases of growth.

There are various barriers in structure of the day cares and philosophies on which they are based
upon. One of the significant challenge in organisational structure of the day care is to ensure
adherence and compliance with federal and state regulations for child care. The foundation of a
daycare service is to legally comply with mandatory standards to run a child care association
effectively. This includes a lot of paperwork which distracts members and divert their attention
from proper care of children. Another major obstacle that arise in proper functioning of the
organisation is availability of the finances. An organisation requires funds and capital resources
in order to carry its day to day activities. The family day care being a not-for-profit organisation
has to arrange all finances on its own. The problem arises in acquisition of funds in order to

provide a healthy and comfortable environment for children's educational purposes. The owners
and staffing members of the organisation ensures that they are doing best on their part to
promote skills and values of children. Another potential barrier that the organisation face is that
parents have different perspectives on the methods of teaching skills and values to their children.
Moreover, it becomes difficult for the organisation to secure parents trust and problems arises in
effective communication with the folks. In addition to this, ensuring safety and well-being of
children at all times is a matter of constant worry as children are more prone to accidents and are
likely to hurt themselves.
