INTRODUCTION
Community engagement refers to the process of working collaboratively with the group
of people that are affiliated by geographic proximity, special interest or a similar situation that
addresses the complexity which may affect the well- being of people. This term is a powerful
term in bringing the environmental and behavioral changes. To effectively understand the term
community engagement bank food is to be taken that is reflected as a non- profit, charitable
organization that supply food to those people who face difficulty in fulfill their hunger needs. In
case of food bank, FEEDO NEEDO bank food is to be undertakes that is basically a charity
organization. This report is based on accumulation of my whole experience within the
community engagement so that I would sustain long within the corporate world (James and Al-
Kofahy, 2020). In this reflection of community engagement i had to work under the bank food
that is FEEDO NEEDO where i had led to developing the several skills such as communication
skills, public speaking skills, and engagement skills, presentation skills along with their
application that helps in developing the employability career and also develops day to day life
experience. To sustain for a longer period of time I would focus on developing my skills and
prepare an outline in relation to how other perceive you. The reflection is done by using Gibbs
Model of self-reflection that revolves around 6 stages.
REFLECTION
This study is revolves around the community engagement in which i am involved in a
charity organization that is a bank food “FEEDO NEEDO” that helps me how to work in
collaboration and engagement that further helps me in developing my career within corporate
world. By using the Gibbs reflection cycle i have to discuss my personal experience and range of
skills that I have acquired during this module and in what I can deploy these skills into the
corporate world (Pine and et. al., 2020). The skills are communication skills, engagement skills,
public speaking skill and presentation skill. The Gibbs reflection model focusing on day to day
life and how can I deploy these skills within community engagement. I am using the six stages
of Gibbs reflection for evaluating the information that are associated with in order to present
viable outcomes.

Description of experience- It is the first stage of Gibbs reflection model that revolves
around the description of experiences that is used to developing the concerned skills. By
using this stage I am going to discuss my experience’s about the acquisition of skills that
are mentioned above which are useful in my corporate working in community
engagement. By involving in the module I would engage in several skills such as
communication skill, engagement skills, public speaking and presentation skill. In this
had a basic understanding of these skills before I involved within the module of
community engagement and attended the classroom. I always had an interest in helping
others and because of this I would focus on these skills highly to engage with the
audience in improving the quality of content that I utter. In this I am deeply interested in
the concept of speaking people and audience to deliver the variety of information and
things (Watanabe, 2021). This helps in developing the skill of employment engagement
by improving the quality of overall skills in an efficient manner. At working in charity
organizations I would able to develop the quality of several skills that are presented
above with effectively interact with my colleagues and seniors during this module.
During the time of attending classroom I would realize that engagement, communication
skill is more efficient if someone understand the concept of public speaking as it reflects
the confidence to do more. In this I also experienced that I am very efficient in engaging
during my learning that I received from the module. In this I had learnt a lot about
engagement skills, communication skill in theoretical manner that develops the public
speaking skills which is very essential at my corporate world while working in
community engagement organization. This skill also creates confidence in me to stand in
front of crowd to creating awareness.

gained from this module that reflects the pretty good results in terms of gaining positive
results in community engagement. At this time everyone appreciate my efforts that
boosted my overall confidence. Hence it was one of the best feelings that I would ever
experience. While working in the FEEDO NEEDO I had to feel good because here my
colleagues and seniors are very supportive that helps me in improving my skills that I
would learn during the module. They supports me to take participate in activities like
interaction with people, creating awareness so that my engagement and communication
skills would be developed along with my presentation skill. In this I feel that community
people demotivates me by not understanding my point effectively but it would be turn in
motivation because of my seniors as they encourage me to practice more to attain the task
effectively.

to be analyzed that positive aspects of the situations overshadow more than one obstacles
that I had faced during the module that helps in working in FEEDO NEEDO. In this I had
a keen interest in engaging with people and during the time that I was spend within the
FEEDO NEEDO I learn about the how I can accumulate it with the public speaking skill
that helps in carry my interest towards development of skills that used in sustaining
within the corporate world. This also supports me to come out from fear that I had faced
during connecting with the community people and it also boosts my personal morale. Due
to this I will always grateful to my team and colleagues that helps me in my theory and
