INTRODUCTION
The business and market sector is changing which too consist of different type of
organisations. Community engagement is important which is needed being adopted so that it is easy
to it is easy to achieve goals as well as objectives within time period. Main aim of this report is to
critically examine and analyse the reflection of previous task 1 based on same topic community
engagement (Algharabat, 2020). UNICEF, which is also to be known as United Nations Children’s
Fund which is United Nation agency responsible for providing development of help to children
globally. It has many subsidiaries such as United Nations, General Assembly etc. Personal reflection
refers to recalling of the past information and making it proper decisions. With changing period of
time, it has become essential to focus on how community engagement has affected the business
sector. This report comprises of various types of theories, models, concept of personal development
and processes.

Reflection on personal experience
In previous task 1, it was seen that the task depicts about the concept of stakeholder
engagement, From own personal experience, I have analysed that it is crucial for me to be aware
and gain relevant knowledge of the how effectively engagement can benefit the performance and
leads to success. This is becoming essential to be active in market as it helps in analysing how to
improve the level of engagement by use of best practices. Personal experience is important to be
reviewed so that further and best practices can be used. Moreover, it is seen that through use of
theories as well as models, personal experience can be easily accessed. With access to personal
experience, I will be able to make proper decisions (Alsina, 2019).
The previous task reflects about how to get engage within community to achieve common
desired goals. So, it was too examined that through working as a team and with other people it is
easier to enhance the importance of a community engagement at workplace. In relation of UNICEF,
I was working as a registered nurse in the organisation I examine the community engagement is
important in this as because they provide social service and help them to achieve higher
development. So with proper consideration of engaging with society and community it is necessary
for them to engage with society and community effectively.
According to my own personal experience, I have analysed that strategies and practices are
required on basis of which it is easier to understand the concept of community engagement.
Moreover, in previous task 1 different types theories and models were too discussed which reflects

Kolb's Reflective cycle
According to this model, it specifies about the learning experience which is needed to be
reflects so that judgement can be made. This model is beneficial to be understood as because it
helps in properly understanding of past reflection in well effective manner. Recalling of information
is essential so that it become easier to adopt the most appropriate type of strategies for business
goals. With consideration of Kolb's reflective cycle, it is easier for me to recall the information in
proper manner and use it in correct way. With reference of this cycle, it comprises of several stages
which are given as follows-
Concrete experience- It is a first stage in which it sates regarding the analysing and
experience of situation into a physical way. In this it focuses on what the situation is, what
has been seen etc. So, I have faced the situation and analysed that community engagement in
market is more focused with aim reducing level of competition in market. I also feel that to
achieve competitive benefits, it is required for every individual to improve their skills to
work in a team. The experience of situation is necessary to be properly examined as it helps
in accessing to further details at wider scale. Moreover, it is seen that situation of every
individual is different from each other’s (Colomer, 2020).
Reflective observation- In this second stage, it specifies about the what actually happened
in experience, what failed and were solved. Through this reflective observation, it is seen
that learner is able to focus on the root cause of situation. So, due to difference in culture,
opinion, etc. it is not easy to focus on how to work with mutual considerations. Moreover,
in previous task 1, it was reflected that in UNICEF, individual are unable to participate in
community engagement. This is due to change behaviour of Management towards their
employees. With this stage, observation need to properly reflect as it helps ion analysing of a
reason why the situation occurs.

been done better to make more improvement. With access to this aspect, learner can easily
make and improve the changes that are essential are needed at all level. So, to improve the

Practices for community engagement

necessary to use them in proper manner. Further, it is seen that as with use of these practices
benefits can be easily achieved (Kulig, 2018).
I too analysed that online knowledge and sessions are needed to be properly accessed so
that it will be beneficial for me to use my own level of skills so that community engagement can
easily applied in corporate sector.

various types of stakeholders in enterprise such as employees, customers, shareholders, owners etc.

as well as decisions. So, participation and role of stakeholders in every organisation is different
from each other.

knowledge which helps me to get engage in community and work with others in team and group.
