INTRODUCTION
The report aims to provide the significance of community engagement in a global business
context. Community engagement is a vital function for organisation in order to make society and
business together to achieve long term goals. Engaging society in decision making, planning and
creating relationship are impact positively on business functioning. Businesses not only work
self benefits or profitability but have high responsibility towards the society in which they are
working. Mainly, in non profit operations, community engagement is highly required as these
charitable institution wants to grab much attention of public in creating certain awareness,
teach them about rights and duties towards society, involve active Entrepreneurs need to think in
a broad manner in order to accomplish goals and targets with the support of stakeholders,
investors, employees and general people(Wood, 2019). Therefore, this report will present the the
programme of Save The Children. It is charity funding institute which runs programmes an
campaigns for save children from abuse, improve quality of life, providing education and many
other assistance. It is non-profit NGO which has its reach to worldwide level. The report will
showcase the issues and hurdles faced by this organisation in regulating their programme by
engaging community people to fulfil their aims and objectives.

Save The Children is a charitable non-profit NGO belongs to United Kingdom. The
institute was formed in 1919 and has scope at international level (Bowers, 2018). The major aim
of this program Is to provide assistance to children irrespective of through which problems they
are goes with. This charitable institute focus on providing better life and all the essentials to live
a healthy life. The organisation working since 102 years which expand their working in approx
120 countries. After the time of world war II, there was a time when situations was not in under
control for Europe that affect many lives into the country. at the time of 1921 to 1923, there are
efforts put on to education and support children by running campaigns and start providing funds,
resources to the people into different cities. Therefore, this programmes built to improve the life
of many people who are also a part of society and have their rights to live a meaningful life
rather than just die with poverty and starvation.

Community engagement principles: there are various principles of community engagement
that must be under consideration while working for society and its people. Save The Children
runs programmes by ascertaining principles of working. As their planning and preparation are
providing value into society by teaching and securing life of people. There are some issues
facing through these working such as insecurity, crimes, social deprivation, lack of resources and
opportunities to conduct a strong programme(Johnstone, and Hansen, eds., 2020) . So, Save the
children also facing some deprivation into society as it is not possible to provide equal facilities
to all the people in society which create discrimination that creates gap within them. Inequalities
are also major concerns which needs to be resolves by the organisation through build trust and
affinity among people which is also a core principle of community engorgement.
The organisation runs programmes in such a manner that provide learning opportunities
to children
they open gate for potential support and free from any bias or misleading acts that may
haunt the children asking for favour.
Maintaining quality of their services by enabling powerful programmes and focus on
creating awareness to reduce crimes, inequality and discrimination from society.

and children will survive in a better future.

based on government and private sources funding by public involvement and charities. Funds are
opt through different sources which is required to regulate day to day operations. These
community firms go through with many challenges in to this socio-cultural society in which
there are sill discrimination, act of inequality and corruption which creates issues in helping
children and reducing poverty from the country. Also, these institution faces issues in social
deprivation which certainly impact upon their organisation and need to come up with more
awareness and strategies that maintain unity and togetherness among people. Therefore, the
