Public Health Interview and Presentation: College Town Community

This project focuses on a community health assessment and interview within the College Towns community. The student conducted a community assessment, examining its demographics, geopolitical aspects, financial and educational levels, social interactions, goals, and challenges. An interview with a community health/public health provider was conducted to understand their roles, experiences, and the health issues faced by the community. The interview explored the benefits of the survey for Community Health Workers and the importance of their working processes. The project identified issues like survey and funding challenges and concluded that the survey process would be beneficial. The student also created a PowerPoint presentation summarizing the community analysis and interview findings, including the interview questions and key takeaways. References were included to support the findings. The project highlighted the importance of structured processes and positive impacts of the survey.
