Community participation level
Participation of community in health care offers the many advantages within the industry.
Effective participation helps to develop the skills to solve the problems and make sure that
healthcare professionals take the responsibility for the welfare and health to ensure the
requirements are addressed adequately, and it prepares them strategically to use culture and
social norms to improve sustainability and overall health. This is also the responsibility of the
government at many levels to support the community and organize to involve them within the
development of health care practices. It is very important for the organization to establish the
framework and give the responsibility within the decision making by the technical and
professional guidance of the health care professionals (Ball, et al., 2013).
Health promotion resources
Health promotion resources are useful for the organizations across the lifespan. The
resources include the financial resources like contracts of the vendor, purchasing of the machine
or supplies like renting influenza vaccine, materials of the marketing, or hiring the candidate to
manage the program. Resources in the health promotion include the development program like
assessment, planning, program implementation and evaluation. The additional resources consist
the time of staff for implementation and planning, of healthcare policies while ensuring
participation of employees (Baxter, et al., 2014).
Community partners bring the additional resources within the program to meet the
requirements and fill the gaps in which workplace health coordinators and committee have the
difficulty to achieve alone:
Expert from the hospital can be appointed to conduct the seminars of health promotion.
Organizations like YMCA can give the access to facilities of fitness for the opportunities
regarding physical activities.
State and local department of the health can share and use their data for the
benchmarking.

Voluntary organizations of the health like American heart association and American
cancer society have the educational materials and program to address the employee health
requirements.
Incentives are very effective to motivate the employees and participate within the
activities in the healthcare organization which can be a part of their budget in which employee
become eligible to receive them. These kinds of incentives can come from the financial rewards
like gift cards, gym memberships, classes of the health promotion, time off from the work, lower
premium of the health insurance to achieve the objectives, prices like t-shirts, and recognition
through the coworkers or supervisor (Goetzel, et al., 2014).
Characteristics of population
The levels of the participation for characteristics of the population are used as the
resource which has been discussed below.
Population size and density
It is defined as the individual number per unit area. The measurement of the population size and
density is important in order to analyze their healthcare data to develop relevant policies.
Age structure
The individual proportion in every group is known as the age structure of the population. The
various age group ratios within the population determine the present reproductive population
status as it anticipates the future requirements and use of resources.
Nationality
The population increases due to the nationality. This is very simple term that covers the
production of the new individuals through the fission, hatching, and birth.
Recommended health promotion idea
It is very important to increase the control over the health by targeting the people that
need specific treatment. This should cover the broader range of environmental and social

interventions which are designed to benefit and protect the individual’s health and life quality
through addressing the root cause.
Good governance for the health
This is very important to focus on the health promotion through maintaining the central line of
the government policies. These should prioritize the policies and prevent the employees from
becoming ill and protect from the injuries. These kinds of policies within the health promotion
programs should be supported regularly through the regulations which match the incentives with
the public health objectives. These programs should provide the skills, knowledge and
information which help people in making the healthy choices. These all need to have the
opportunities to create a positive environment in which employees become capable to suggest
and improve their health.
Regular measurement of quality
Consistent movement with the reasonable care will allow promoting and assessing the care by
addressing the technical problems. It should address the technical issues to undermine the efforts
of measurement. Quality measure data dissemination should be reviewed within the multi-
pronged strategy to improve the quality of the health care. The accompanying strategies will
offer the technical support to strengthen the capacities and improve the quality of the health care
(Street, Gold, & Manning, 2013).
