Community policing is a way of enhancing independence as well as sharing responsibility

Community policing concept enhances the strengthening of the trust
of the community to the regular police. The police chiefs who are not
transparent in the public are streamlined by the community policing.
 The police bosses should enhance a law that regulates the police on
taking bribe from the public as it is unethical and this will lower the
value of police departments (Brogden & Nijhar, 2013, pp. 17).

Accountability through the internal affairs
 Community policing contributes much in ensuring the accountability of every individual in the
society.
 The officials participating in community policing should ensure demonstration and commitment in
enhancing the trust of the public trust and having a critical checkup in accessing the challenging
behaviors such taking of bribery from the public (Kappeler & Gaines, 2012, pp. 10).
 There exists different ways in which community policing contribute in enhancing and establishing
the accountability of both an individual and that of the police. These ways include;

Enhances education to the community
The officers of the community policies are almost everywhere.
Having confidence with the community policing officers would therefore pass the knowledge to the citizens
about the crime reporting and ways of preventing crimes in the society.
Having familiarity with the community policing will enable one to acquire more knowledge on the role in
crime prevention (Brogden & Nijhar, 2013, pp. 18).

 A panel or a group of citizens from the same community comes together and handle the
issues pertaining the society.
 The board represents the entire community and it handles all the aspects of complains from
the citizen.

 The department of the community policing handles all the aspects pertaining complains from public.
 It is the community policing department that handle the issues and complains from the citizens and
they may appeal the results to a board that comprise of the community policing and the public.

 Community policing is dynamic and therefore it changes with the revolution of the needs of
