Introduction:
The significance of the community services amongst the general citizens of Australia
is seen to enhance in a noteworthy manner. The increment in the number of community
services and social work based organizations is one of the crucial factors that signify the
value of the services of these organizations amongst the people of Australia. At the same
time, the increasing awareness amongst the people of the nation regarding the benefits of the
services of these community based organizations is substantial in increasing the preferences
of the services that they provide to the general citizens of Australia. According the comments
of Vins et al. (2015), the success of a government or a society in improving their position in
the happiness indicator, is seen to be dependent on their ability in enhancing the quality of the
life style of the people of the nation.
As per the comments of Groom et al. (2015), the role of the community services is
considered as crucial in enhancing the quality of the life style of the citizens as it has the
ability to provide mental support and psychological support to the general citizens. Hence,
the importance of the community services organizations in creating an improved social and
psychological context for their citizens is pretty prominent. The study discusses regarding
one such relevant support services for a chosen scenario. With a precise understanding of the
context, the study identifies a relevant welfare system that has the capability to resolve the
identified challenge. In addition to this, the study identifies the required resources for the
welfare system and creates a specific target group for the services of the welfare system.
Other than this, the study delivers an interesting evaluation on the suitability of the services

Identification of the Welfare System:
With a precise look at the selected scenario, it is understandable that Michael was
suffering from anxiety disorder and depression for a long period of time. The severity of the
depression issues and anxiety faced by Michael was considerably high and that was visible
with the necessity of admitting him to the hospital. Michael faced multiple panic attacks. As a
result, Michael was forced to take a great number of days as leave from his office which also
cost his job. Having said that, one of the positive things for Michael was in such situation was
certain supportive friends of him. However, the friends of Michael were seen to be incapable
in helping him get out of the situation as they lacked knowledge regarding the required
treatment for the recovery of the individuals from such disorder. Michael’s ex -wife increased
his ease in tackling the challenge of anxiety and panic disorder through undertaking the
custody of their five year old child. However, Michael was a feeling a high degree of
insecurity and seen to be affected with the sense of the guilt as he felt that he failed as a
parent and as an individual in managing the responsibility of his family which increased his
anxiety and mental disturbances.
With a precise look at such a scenario, it is understandable that the severity of the
mental illness of Michael is one of the main reason that is affecting his professional and
personal life in a notable manner. With a precise look at the issues that Michael faced, it
becomes important to provide him the services of the mental disorder and anxiety recovery
services (Ogloff et al., 2015). There are several welfare organizations operating in Australia
which are operating in a successful manner and contributing to the improvement of the life
style of the people of the nation. Such services from the part of the Mental Health and Panic
attack recovery organizations are required for the betterment of the mental health of Michael
and to ensure that he recovers from the detrimental impact of the panic attacks and mental

Considering the chosen case of Michael, it is understandable that the identification of
the resources is dependent on the evaluation of the appropriate measures that can be
undertaken for the recovery of Michael. With a precise look at the situation of Michael, it is
understandable that the factors that are affecting the mental stability of Michael are family
history which is primarily a genetics based challenge, ongoing stress of life, personality
concerns along with the malfunctioning of the biochemical factors where the patients suffer
from the inappropriate transfer of signal as a result of the improper functioning of the
Neurotransmitters (Blackdoginstitute.org.au, 2020). For resolving such issues, the application
of the psychological treatments which includes a vast range of therapies, the physical
treatments along with the self- care are considered to be much needed. For the recovery of
Michael, the application of the antidepressants will be of great significance. The probable
resources in the aspect of the antidepressants will be the Selective Serotonin Reuptake
Inhibitors commonly known as SSRIs and Serotonin and Noradrenaline Reuptake Inhibitors

mental disorder or anxiety. Apart from this, the allocation of required resources for the

patients affected with anxiety disorder. For ensuring the self- care infrastructure, the inclusion
of the good nutritious foods, required infrastructure for exercises along with the scope of
meditation are of great significance.
Evaluation of the suitability of services:
From the above analysis, the probable measures that can be undertaken for tackling
the challenge of the anxiety disorder and mental health issues are cited. With a precise look at
the challenge of the mental health and anxiety disorders of Michael, it is understandable that
majority of the above mentioned solutions will be of great significance. With a detailed focus
on the condition of Michael, the detrimental impact of depression and anxiety disorders is
pretty prominent. In such situation, the application of the antidepressants such as Selective
Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors and Serotonin and Noradrenaline Reuptake Inhibitors are
considered to be best in the business for improving the condition of the patients. With a

Michel’s treatment. In addition to this, the appropriate recovery of Michael’s mental health
condition requires a certain level of application of wide range of theories. The excellence of

Michael regarding his ability in managing the difficult period of his life. Apart from this, Cait
et al. (2017), claimed that there is a general tendency of inappropriate life style amongst the
anxiety affected people and the same was present in the case of Michael as well. To tackle the
same, Michael is in need to achieve the normal life style where he will intake appropriate
amount of nutritious foods and will participate in the meditation sessions and in exercise
activities.
Conclusion:
On a concluding note, it is understandable that Michael is affected with high level of
depression and anxiety issues which is developed from the insecurity related to the job and
social life. However, Michael’s problem can be resolved with the help of the mental health
care services. The application of the anti- depressants and a wide range of therapies are
