Community social organizations (CSO)
Community management is a common pool resource management of common resource or
problem through the collective action of stakeholders. Resource managed either material or
descriptive. In this essay it explains the community service organizations descriptions, key
characteristics of CSOs. It also explains the distinction between CSO against other two sectors
which is public and government. It explains the depth information of CSO and their role in
community sector. It explains that CSO initiates the process and method to help the people who
ignorant and in conflicts with law.
Key characteristics of community service organizations:
Community organizations are the systematic process which deals with the welfare of groups to
meet with the requirements. It is created for directing the people talent and their strengths to
discover the common requirements and resources. These types of organizations meet with the
needs and coordinating the attempts of welfare agencies and build welfare programs and events
(Ragsdell, et. al., 2016).
Objectives of these community social organizations are:
 To create cooperation and make unity within peoples.
 To develops a better understanding among people common requirements.
 To mobilize the assets to create a suitable atmosphere.
 These organizations develop democratic leadership among peoples by involvements in
community programs (Taylor, 2017).

Opportunities:
 There are various types of opportunities unique to the CSO’s such as;
 It provides public services offices which built the bridge between the community and
government.
 Organizations can use the registration requirements and develop partnerships.
 Local and government organizations facilitate civic actions through volunteerism to the
company partnerships (Milbourne and Cushman., 2015).
Three characteristics of CSO and its discussion are:

 CSO focus on organizing the people to address their resources and make effort to sort out
their basic requirements by mobilization.
This feature helps to the people for searching the sources and does efforts to solve their
problems. It not only solves their problems and issues but also supports via mobilizations.
It is the process which makes something specific helps for the people such as; it provides
a wheelchair to the handicapped patient.
 It not only supports to the people but also provide helps to those organizations to create
the sound for planning as well as actions. CSO helps to the people via social supports,
provide essential resources which are needed for the people.
 It also focuses on motivating to the people for better involvements within developing
community programs. These types of organizations encourage people to do work in right
directions. It also supports to the people for their decision-making process (Jones, et. al.,
2016).
Examples of CSO and its impacts on both the aspects such ad governance and approach:
CSO helps to the needy people, support for searching their resources, it not only give guidelines
for prevention but also give directions to the people to managing their working conditions. CSO
directly affect to the government and approach in many ways such as;
CSO focus on provide support to the people and help them by providing services, facilities. This
factor affects governance and management. Governance sectors also provide services to the
people and support them with limited resources. Management approach influenced through the
CSO. Corporate social organizations also influenced to the management (Carrington, et. al.,
2015).
Example is:
Many CSO organizations focus on to provide social services and it directly influenced both
aspects such as; governance and management. Many NGO’s provide facilities to the needy
people and help them according to the needs and requirements. These organizations take
supports through government and sponsorships. Due to these reasons governance and
management effect and it provides supports to these types of organizations.

It is concluded that CSO helps to the people who search the resources, provide the facility to
them via mobilization. In this essay it explains the depth information of CSO, its characteristics,
features and impacts on the other organizations. It also explains the distinction between with the
other sectors such as public sector organizations and private sector organizations. These
characteristics of CSO directly affect to the governance and management. It also explained that it
plays an important role in the whole world and provide support to the people by giving
resources, social help and fulfil their requirements. In this report it explains that community
service organizations motivate and encourage to the people by support of governance and
management. These organizations provide supports not for the profits society and associations.
