To implement Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) IEEE has proposed a
protocol that is called IEEE 802.11. This protocol is a set of medium access control
(MAC) and physical layer (PHY) specifications. Thecomputers communicate in 900
MHz and2.4, 3.6, 5 and 60 GHz frequency bands. This is the most popular wireless
standard used in all over the world.The 802.11 family has series of half duplex over
the air modulation techniques that uses the same basic protocol. The first wireless
networking standard that comes in the family was 802.11-1997. But this is not
accepted widely. The first widely accepted protocol in this family was 802.11b. Then
after a series of protocols come as 802.11g, 802.11a, 802.11n, and 802.11ac. etc. The
rest of other standards in this family like are a type of changes in service that is going
to use the current scope of operational standards.These will also used in the process of
putting tp shape the specifications of the past (ragÃ3n-Zavala, 2017). The protocols
802.11b and 802.11g operates on the 2.4 GHz ISM band. Due to the choice of
frequency band sometime 802.11b and g equipment may suffer from interference
from microwaves ovens, cordless telephones and Bluetooth devices. 802.11a uses
5GHz U-NII band.802.11n cab uses either of 2.4GHz or 5GHz band. 802.11ac uses
only5GHz band. It is important to note that the radio frequency spectrum segment
utilized byt 802.11 is different among various states. 802.11ad is an amendment. A
new physical layer for the 802.11networks is also defined buy it. It operates in
60GHz millimeter wave spectrum.802.11af is also known as super WiFi or
sometimes white-fi. This is also an amendment that enables for WLAN activity in TV
void area range in the VHF and UHF groups between 54 and 790 MHz.802.11ah

we can multiply the capacity of a radio link by using multiple antenna that will
transmit and receive and exploits a multipath propagation.

Justification
This is a dual band Wi-Fi enabled router
It has the ability to connect more than 12 devices at the same
time(Sundaresan and Krishnamurthy, 2017)
Reliable choice for office and home use
Can attain the speeds of 802.11ac
Allows for VPN support
$200 Budget
The recommendation for this budget is the Linksys MAX-Stream AC2200 MU-
MIMO Tri-band Wireless Router.

Justification for this:
It supports the 802.11k standard.
It is able to support multiple Wi-Fi connection support.
This is a router that has a tri-band Wi-Fi enabled.
It supports a multiple Wi-Fi connection support.
It also has a six level power amplifier that covers the 2.4GHZ and 5GHz
frequencies. This will eventually the range of operation.
Furthermore, it is very suitable for a larger space of office.
It utilizes 802.11ac 2200 Mbps which is twice as fast as the regular 80211ac
routers in the market (Naik, Liu and Park, 2018.).
The budget of $500
Recommendation: Zyxel Uag4100 Ieee 802.11N Wireless Router.
Justification for this router:
One is that it is able to support an advanced 802.11n standard.
It is also able to be utilized in establishing a single spot Wi-Fi solution
Can be utilized in larger office spaces. This is because it is a high-end feature
loaded router.
It able to sustain a good data speed of 190MBps with all devices connected
(Shankar, PinXing, and Herkersdorf, 2014) to it on Wi-Fi.
