TASK 1
INTRODUCTION
Employee relation and law plays very essential role within the company as employees are
required to have positive relationship with their employees. Along with this, there must have
adoption of effective laws and policies within the organisation so that positive results will be
developed in an appropriate manner. In this section a critical reflection is going to be conducted
by which they can identify the role play as well as the process of role play (Banfield, Kay and
Royles, 2018).
Critical Reflection
A) Process of working in a team.
Team refers to a group of individual who work together in order to attain their personal as
well as professional goals and objectives. Teams includes people who have complementary skills
and capabilities by which efforts of each and every team members will be maximise and provide
them positive result in an appropriate manner. I am performing a role of team leader within an
organisation where I have to contribute my efforts in order to increase the effectiveness of
employees working within the workplace. I was the one who assign all the roles and
responsibilities to the employees according to their skills and capabilities. By providing duties to
the staff members as per their skills and knowledge, positive results will be produced by the my
team members within stipulated time frame. It has also been said that my overall skills and
knowledge are quite good which assist me in order to attain various goals and objectives of the
company in an effective manner. I have observed while doing this project that my
communication skill is quite effective which assist me in order to communicate and transfer all
the required information in an effective manner. As a result, this skill help me in performing all
the business functions in an effective manner and aid in maintaining long term relationship with
the team members in a appropriate way.
While doing all the business functions in an appropriate manner, it has been analysed by
me that my leadership as well as team management skills are quite impressive which provide me
ample number of opportunities to me in the near future (Baum, 2016). Along with this, it has
been said that there I have to provide guidance and direction to my team members so that they
will be able to perform their work in such a manner that they can produce positive outcomes

within stipulated time frame. Furthermore, there are various situations arise within the
organisation where I have to take decisions within seconds which shows my decision making
skills. There are various issues and problems arise within the company which need to be resolved
by me in an effective manner so that positive working environment will be created. For this, it is
required by me to have effective communication, listening and problem solving skills so that I
can easily perform all the requirements in an effective manner which leads towards the
attainment of organizational goals and objectives by creating healthy working culture.
B) Process of the role play
John dewery was the first person who was working on the refective theory on the basis of
his reflection and experience. Dewey identified the practices of reflection the way by which all
the professional persons are aware about their knowledge and the experience gained by them.
The problems are identified in the first part and on the basis of that solution are generated in
order to resolve them. The practice of reflection is designed as the way of solving problem and
on the other side the process of setting the problems are neglected (Baum, 2015). The decisions
are made in order to achieve the end results. According to Schon the reflection factor was the
core of their study which was designed by the paradigm where the problems were focused and
solution to the same were generated. According to the theory Schon said that the restatement of
the reflecting thinking was a very educative process which results in bringing the new concept
which is named as the reflective conversation which are carried out with their particular solution.
The practise of reflection is being examined in order to determine the solutions so that problem
can be easily solved. The basic plan is to design effective solution for the problems in order to
enhance knowledge and learn from their past experience. Schon said that the technique of
handling all the typical tasks are based on the design practices which is also termed as
knowledge which is in action series. Schon also evaluated the concept as the discovery of riding
bikes when the person knows that they are falling towards the left side then what action they will
play so that they can easily maintain a balance. The investigation is done in order to know the
facts and on the basis of that valuable solution can be generated which are beneficial in
enhancing their knowledge and experience (Brierley and Gwilliam, , 2017).
The 360 Degree Tool is used in order to know about the feedback of an employees from
the other members who are working in a team. The feedback can also be taken from managers
and supervisors in order to correct the weak areas by providing them training and motivating

them in order to achieve their targets. In this tool the member of the team can get feedback from
all the angles. The report which is generated by the management will help a person in order to
know about their behaviour and skills which can be improved so that team can carry out their
working in a healthy working environment (Collings, Wood and Szamosi, 2018). This is a
completely different method of knowing the performance as supervisors tell employee the
overall working and the areas where improvement needs to be done. With the help of this tool,
performance as well as efficiency of the staff members will be improved which as a result assist
them in creating high quality service in a positive manner. The 360 Degree feedback tool not
only focuses on the overall performance level but they also consider the aspects that help in
analysing the behaviour of an employee. This is an important factor in order to develop strong
communication and enhance their performance level (Eaton, 2017).
CONCLUSION
With the assistance of above stated critical reflection section, it has been analysed that
management as well as leadership skill is quite good which provide me various opportunities in
both personal and professional life. It has also been concluded that tool which is used by me
while identifying the overall performance of an individual working within the organisation. This
will assist them in order to provide rewards, benefits, promotion and many other monetary as
well as non-monetary benefits.

Executive Summary
This report is based on various employee issues which are prevailing in a company.
Many times there are situations in which it is not clarity of relations between employees working
at various levels. This leads to a situation that employees may have misinterpretation related to
each other which has lead to such issues. In the present case also there has been a conflict
between two employees who are working at different positions in the company BNForay which
is located in Svidnik, siovakia. This company is basically dealing into curd but they have
recently started a new product mozzarella cheese and there has been some problems such as
conflict which is related to misconception of duties and responsibilities (Fox and Cowan, 2015).
INTRODUCTION
It is the second section of this report which includes detailed description about various
topics related to employees relation within the workplace. This section of the report consists of
various issues and problems faced by staff members of the company. Along with this it also
includes a discussion about performance of workers and how positive working environment will
increase the overall performance of the staff members. Furthermore, it also includes an
implementation plan which assist in adopting various strategies in order to resolve issues arise
within the workplace.
Issues of employee relations in the case:
There are many different issues which have been highlighted in this case which are mentioned
below:
Understanding of job role: There is a big issue in which employee has not been able to
understand their job role in the company. In the present case it can be observed that there
was a serious issue in which a employee has not been able to properly understand their
job role (Gerpott, 2015). This happened with procurement officer Lila and also with the
country manager of the company Martha both of them were not able to understand their
respective duties and they got involved in a case which was conflict amongst employees.

handled this issue of employee conflicts by resolving of conflict as soon as it raised and

Obstacles in performing duties: There are so many obstacles which occurred for the
company. Such as there has been a issue which is related to proper guidance from t op
management. It was clearly observed in this case that Lila is being blamed for not
performing her duties in a required manner bit this issue was raised at a very later stage.
Hence, it was a requirement that this issue must have been raised at very earlier stage so
that adequate measure could have been taken on part of company (Jabbour and Sousa
Jabbour, 2016).
Coordination: There is a need to have proper coordination amongst employees in the
company which will help them in avoiding duplication of efforts and ineffectiveness in
the company. In the present case it has been identified that there was no proper
coordination between the procurement officer of this company and country manager. This
lead to a situation in which both of them suffered and organisation as a whole also gets
negatively effect because of such problem of coordination prevailing between employees.
Effective procedures and policies: There is a legal procedure for every activity which is
taking place in company. In case of BNForay also there was a legal procedure and
necessary formalities which had to be compulsorily followed by the managers of their
company who were assigned this duty. In this case this duty was assigned to Lila who
was a procurement officer of the company.
With the assistance of above stated points, it has been concluded that there are different
types of issues faced by employees within the organization but the major problem faced by them
is related to the roles and responsibilities of employees. It is said that individuals need to
coordinate with their staff members and share their opinion and thoughts with their colleagues on
a regular basis.
Proposal to enhance performance of employees and enabling higher level of productivity through
positive working relations
Clarity : There must always be clarity in minds of employee related to what work has to
be done by them and they must have clearly defined responsibilities (Morschett,
Schramm-Klein and Zentes 2015). This is the duty and at same time responsibility of the

top management teams if every organisation that they are able to handle such issues in
minimum time period. in the present case it is seen that top management of BNForay had
been very negligent when there was a apparently a mistake committed by their employee
Lila.
Empowerment of employees: There must be timely efforts made to empower
employees so that they are able to perform their job in a better way. In this case BNFoary
did not had any specific efforts in having positive working environment which will lead
to increasing the present level of employees in company.
Informal meetings: To ensure better relationships with employees in the company it
becomes necessary to organise various informal meetings so that employees are able to
lay down effective channels of communication which will help in communication which
will lead to employees getting familiar with each other nature and then this will also help
in their working (Shen and Benson, 2016).
Employee development: it is the duty of organisation that they are having development
of employees in their priority list which will lead to planning of goals and their
achievement plans. This will also help employees in developing their skills so that they
are able to handle various responsibilities which are assigned to them. In the present case
of BNFoary the company had faced a issue which was related to their one of employee
Lila not being able to understand their job responsibility and conducting a mistake.
Which lead to arsing of conflict between Martga and Lila employees working at different
job positions.
Trust and consistency: It is also a very essential tool which can help BNFOray in
making effective relationships between employees working at different job positions. As
trust is the key which can help in reduction of various conflicts which are taking place or
occurring between employees. If there has been trust amongst employees then the issue
which happened in company could not have reached up to such a serious extent.
Efficiency: It is necessary that there is efficiency in overall functions. As this is a tool
which will help in improvement of working environment in company. This will also help
in having effective relationship amongst employees working at various different positions
in company (Zang and Ye, 2015). Efficiency is very important for companies to ensure
positive environment at workplace. This will also help in motivation of employees to

increase their overall level of performance. In case of BNForay the company also should
make sure that they are having efficiency when they are starting a segment of new
product.
Implementation plan outline costings, timescales, responsibilities
It is said that strategic plan refers to the procedure of defining policies and strategy with
the help of which organisational goals and objectives will be attained. Along with this, effective
decisions might be taken by the top management team of the company in an appropriate manner.
Managers of the company develop strategic plans in order to provide guidance to the organizational
direction so that pre defined goals will be accomplished easily and effectively. On the other hand,
implementation strategy means a process of identifying how effectively these plans will be executed
effectively.
In the present context of BNForay, it has been said that with the help of implementation plan,
managers will be able to identify the overall cost of the company which they are used to conduct the
business operations to satisfy their needs and wants (Fox and Cowan, 2015). Along with this,
timescale is also developed by the managers with the help of effective implementation plan. This will
assist in performing each and every activity in an effective manner and within given time period so
that pre defined task will be accomplished effectively. Therefore, this will assist in producing
positive outcomes by using different types of strategies. Along with this, if there is any kind of issues
and problems arise while doing business operations, management team of the company will be able
to resolve it within limited time period. In relation to the present case study, it has been concluded
that it is very essential to execute implementation plan in an effective manner so that management
team will be able to attain their organizational goals and objectives within stipulated time frame.
Risk register
A risk register define as a written document used by the managers or top authority of the
company as a risk management tool. It is a tool used to satisfy each and every regulatory
compliance in an effective manner and consist various additional data and information. It is one
of the most essential and crucial element for the organization but helps in resolving different
types of issues and problems arise at the workplace (Gerpott, 2015). For instance, if there is any
kind of issues arise at the organization among staff it is a written document which consist of

As per the above stated report, it has been concluded that there are various issues present
within the organization. All these problems might affect the overall behaviour of employees and
negatively affect the efficiency of staff members. It has also been identified that there are ample
number of elements which might increase the performance of individual in a positive manner.
Furthermore, with the assistance of implementation plan managers will be able to execute
effective strategies within the workplace which provides ample number of opportunities to the
companies.
TASK 3
Employee Decision
It has been analysed from the above case that there was an employee issue at the work
place which was grievance in which an employee had raised a complaint against the employer.
This issue which are developed at the work place results in developing negative environment at
work place. This is the feeling of the injustice among the employee and they do not feel secure at
the work place (Jabbour and Sousa Jabbour, 2016). The ways by which grievance is solved can
be both formal and informal. In the formal procedure there can be meetings conducted in which
the problems can be easily identified and solutions for the same can be generated. Formal
meetings can be conducted in which employees can provide evidences by which they can easily
backup their cases which had to be resolved in the hearings.
This is an important method by which employees feel that they are valued as their
decisions are taken into consideration. There should be team meetings conducted in order to
know the problem which are faced by them in their working this will help in minimising the
conflicts at work place. If employer is taking any decision at the work place, then they should
communicate it to all their employees and should also know their opinion that they are satisfied
with the decision or not If there is requirement of making some change then they should design
plan in order to execute the changes effectively so that grievance can be easily resolved. In
relation to the present case study, it has been concluded that decision taken in the situations of
grievance is that they must communicate with each other within specified time frame so that

disputes, conflicts and issue might be reduced by them in an effective manner. Therefore,
decision taken by the higher authorities is that there must be flow of communication from top to
bottom and bottom to top so that a systematic format will be followed by each and every
individual person. This will assist them in maintaining favourable culture within the workplace.
Along with this, it is also very essential to create positive working environment for the staff
member so that they will be able to perform their business functions in an appropriate manner
(Jabbour and Sousa Jabbour, , 2016). For this, managers need to resolve all the issues faced by
employees while working in the organization so that there performance will be increased and
positive outcomes will be developed.
