POEM RESPONSE
Paragraph 1
Knowledge and understanding of ideas and perspectives in the texts
The main theme is brought out from the poem and article is about freedom. The quote from
poem “and dare to claim the sky” in which author wants to say that free bird are not restricted to
do things by their own they do what they want to which describes their freedom. From the article
the quote “the lonely bird grew to protect its lonely protector” through this writer want to say
that bird who was seeking for the shelter but the pigeons refuse to give her then only effigy of
the lost soul offered her a place therefore she started singing for effigy. The knowledge and
understanding regarding the ideas and perspective that are depicted in the poem as well as the
article that has been included will bring about a figurative speech of half are the Lost soul as well
as the Lonely bird are brought about by the perfect picturisation of a character that was truly
brought about by the midst of loneliness (Suryati, 2018). Both the poem as well as the article
depicted the characters of birds which were kept aside by the remaining ones that depicted and
involvement of religion environment. How people usually get incorporated with the finest
policies of the religious choices as well as how far they put aside without even considering. This
is rather a hopeless situation where people usually deal with sorrow and a kind of atmosphere
which cannot be explained upon all the exaggerating policies. Both the poem as well as the
article explanation will portray upon the image of bringing about a variation and the theme
depicts joy and sorrow.
The order in the context of both the poem as well as the article picture as a bird that is being
abandoned as well as the one that is being shut. There are two personification that are being
detected by the other as a part of explaining freedom in both the scenarios. In one part of
explaining about the freedom of a lonely bird that was abandoned by its fellow birds is nothing
but a phenomena of loneliness that was brought about by set of principle as well as an
environment that is portrayed by differences. In the second article where the other highlights the
part of a cage bird which was caught inside and the freedom that is encapsulated with regard to
this bird will picture is the circumstances of loneliness in an entirely different scenario
(Kronenberg, 2017). Both the languages as well as the contest will go hand in hand at the entire
personification of the poem as well as the article will differ in terms of bringing about loneliness

in various contexts. Being alone is different from being lonely. This is what is Bing gained by
the terminology that is being used by the other as a team of freedom and no hope criteria. There
are certain phrases in the poem as well as in the article that is provided which will bring about
the personification about how for the rhyming and the contents are differing. One is tuning in
terms of time the strings and one is tuned in terms of being abandoned. This hits the audience in
an entirely different way.
Paragraph 2
Similarities and differences
The similarities that are depicted in both the poem and articles is about importance of freedom.
Loneliness is brought about by the two birds that are being take away and that is being a
similarity which is picturised on both the report. The author brings about their approach of how
far loneliness hits a personality and that he depicted in terms of taking the examples of birds. The
knowledge regarding the types of loneliness is also portrayed in this report. One can easily spot
the differences between being half evacuated or being caught which are completely different
from each other (Arthami, 2017). A clear understanding about how far this similarities will
reflect upon the real life incident is being portrayed. The difference between the two poem and
article that are being explained by the orders is the framing of sentences which means that
loneliness which is due to being abandoned and the loneliness that is in terms of getting caged.
The loneliness that is being abandoned is something which is emotionally drained and the ones
that are getting shut is related to the agony of not being able to save itself from the clutches of
the imprison. Every personification as “the free bird leaps on the back of the winds” in this line
of the poem author wants to convey that the freedom life of someone regarding the terminology
and the figurative speech that is being inculcated by the other will portray the similarities and
differences between both the cases and highlighting the policy of sorrow and pain is being
depicted in both the cases. The language features as well as the style that has been incorporated
in both the scenario will picturised the offence of imagination followed by a perfect explanation
of the entire scenario. Similarity can be seen in both the poem and article is they both are
conveying a message about the freedom as in the poem it is seen that free bird can do whatever
they want to if they want to fly as high as possible they are allowed to but if bird is caught by
someone then there life will become difficult. Just like in article it is shown that free pigeons are

allowed to do things which they want to but for the bird who has been caught by someone her
life become difficult.
Differences can be seen in both poem and article as in the poem it compares the freedom and
captivity, whereas in article it shows about the caged bird. In poem, it is seen that captive bird
only limited to their cage. In article captive bird has no wings to fly they only remain shut in
their cage until their death. Poem is targetting the societal issue in which some people are
allowed to do whatever they want to but for some people it is impossible to do things on their
own. In article, it says that after visitor caught the bird the lost soul waited for her friend until her
death.
Conventions used
The author in this regard will bring about the featuring of birds in order to explain the
appropriate terminology as well as the styles that are being taken as preference. To explain this
scenario the entire context was divided into an environment where there are a set of words that
are abandoning another bird (Gillott, 2020). This feature depicts the style of narration of other
and that has clearly portrayed the scenarios which fell in regard to the poem. The convention
centre portrayed in the poem are both personal and introspective. There are certain characters
that will imply upon the concerned storytelling and that brings about the narrative conventions
which are floating in the poem. In this regard both the circumstances picturized a kind of
resolution that is brought about by loneliness and the concern that is raised in terms of deriving
the pain.
