There are various social has been raised in country which impacts negatively on people
living in the nation. However, one of major social issue can be considered as factor of inequality
between men and women which must be removed from society in gain development. Meanwhile,
there are various aspects in which women get less than men in society which is not appropriate
(Hakim, 2016). Moreover, it is observed and analysed that there are various local areas in which
there is strong discrimination factor between men and women in Unites States which is required
to be reduced in proper manner. In present time, it is evaluated that strict legislations reduce the
discrimination on the basis of gender but it takes much time to remove this threat from the
society in US.
Problem Description
The problem of inequality between men and women is still very much adopted on society
which is required to be overcome in order to gain development in the nation. It has been analysed
that there various aspects in which women are not equal to men which mentioned here. Initially,
women pay more for common household items then men do and females get 16% less money as
compared to male counterparts. Secondly, women are under-represent in government and they
are minority in executive suite as well as in booming tech sector. Thirdly, women still shoulder
more household burden and they are far more likely to be victims of human trafficking.
However, female soldiers face rape & harassment and always remain at higher risk of sexually
assault as well as domestic violence. Young females suffer from partiality in schools or colleges
and retired women are twice as likely as retired men to live in poverty. Moreover, it is also
observed that, in many organisations, compensation of female employees is low and there is not
other benefits are granted to them at work place (Hearn and Morgan, 2014).
It has been determined that only proper education and legislations can change overall
wrong thoughts related to inequality among men and women. Meanwhile, discrimination on the
basis of gender on local communities reflects a major issue at national level which create barrier
in development of country. Discrimination has been done in every small aspect of life in local
areas like education, clothing etc. whereas partiality at international level can be identify ratio of

Approach
The social problems are usually created due to inappropriate thinking of people and
wrong perception influenced by culture. However, the issue of inequality between men and
women has been analysed results on opinion of stereotypes who did not think practically and
understand actual fact but promote inappropriate trend like discrimination on the basis of gender
(González, Jurado and Naldini, 2014). Within the context of international relations, it is analysed
that the culturalist believe that self is a communal self which develop in interaction with others
where interests values & norms are shaped by sociological procedure. Basically, it is determine
that primary determinants of gender inequality and the place to which it derives its staying
power from gender stereotypes. Moreover, the gender can be considered as primary frame which
has been used for defining the self and other ta the time of describing the way of behaving dur in
interactions and with another people. Meanwhile, I have analysed that personal believes also
influence our views about particular social issue. In addition to this, it is identified that women
have to face these discriminatory problems as it is their life but this is totally wrong perceptions
and assumptions of those stereotypes who promote factor of inequality. Moreover, its I necessary
to stay away from any kind of biases at the time of analysing particular social issue.
At the other hand, it has been evaluated that my analysis get affected by biases created
due to my personal religious and cultural beliefs as they distract me from actual facts of specific
social problem. However, my own religious thought and views impacts negatively on my
analysis regarding inequality between men and women in terms of avoiding few of practicals
facts accordingly. In addition to this, it is also observed that few of individual support higher
education and career opportunities for females but in limited fields and justify by giving opinion
of their easy life in personal and professionals aspects. It is necessary to make avoid personal
biases which can be done by using appropriate theories and strategies. I have follow practical
facts to make my analysis more accurate about discrimination between men and women.
Furthermore, I have used Social constructionist theory and conflict theories which provide

support to limit my own biases and make analysis of inequality on the basis of gender more
appropriate.
