The appeal of current leading tourist destination can be
compared with that of currently developing
destination on the basis of following:
 Infrastructure
 Culture
 Transportation System
 Environmental protection
 Physical Features

On the basis of Culture Costa Rica is influenced by
Spanish Culture while United kingdom has introduces
new culture that is human kind. That is inspired by
literature of Shakespeare. There are many old
traditions that are being stilled followed by the people
living in United kingdom that attract tourist. Besides
this there are various museums, library, historic
architecture that encouraged tourist to visit such
destinations

Costa Rica , national roads have very poor condition
and underdeveloped transportation system. On the
other hand United kingdom has the finest transport
system that include airports, underground trains, and
buses. This is appreciable that both the countries have
low crime rate. But Britain has impressive task force
as compared to Costa Rica.

On the basis of environmental protection that is the major
appealing constituents for attracting customers. In
terms of this element United kingdom is ranked at 9 th
place whereas Costa Rica is at 5 th place according to
world ranking. Hence, it has been identified that
developed countries have unique features for attracting
domestic as well as domestic visitors in comparisons to
the characteristics of developing country.
